Mate, Thaler was extremely dire! Granted we had poor defense but still. Hope we Childs next week, apparently Hull mess around at the ruck! icon_biggrin.gifANCE:

The Bradford fans I stood with thought Wakefield were doing something rude with Thaler at Half time.

I though Mathers was probably our MOTM, caught what he needed to, scored a try and was an handful with ball in hand. He silenced a lot of Bulls fans. Aiton was Latu like at times but like our readable tactics up the middle he got predictable.

Kirmond was class in the 1st with that insane Ellis-esque step.

I thought Oli Wilkes & Randy Aleigh did well up front against a big opposition pack & Danny Kirmond is looking one of our better new signings. Ironically our 1st try was set up & scored by 3 players who always seemed to inflict pain on us in past seasons , big Ali , Richie Mathers & Ben Cockayne, they all seem to be playing well for us.

Toss up between Kirmond, Aiton and Mathers for me. FWIW, Mathers got the sponsors MotM.

Kirmond is always a good strong runner but I think he was on the field a bit too long for you guys. It;s not often Bryn Hargreaves knocks a player off but he did it to Kirmond to create a try. I thought Aiton was alright in the first half and Mathers did some good things but you always geta mixed bag with him. Lauitiiti looked threatening whenever he was on.

Wakefield look like a side that needs time to settle to me. A few times the half backs didn't click with their runners. Same situation with us, especially with our injuries disrupting things further.

Ben Cockayne played well and Kirmond put a good shift in, that was about it. Aiton looked lively, seems a reincarnation of Leo-Latu to me. The great break followed by a cock-up summed him up. Most of them need to raise their game though.

Stung for two forward passes that even eddie and stevo were fine
Off side was a joke
'Laying on' was blatant

Ben Cockayne tried possibly too hard and should have dragged other Wakey players over to support when the kick was coming.

Paul Aiton - Great first half but was either off the pitch or not involved enough in the second half.

Maybe Mathers - not sure about is forward role when scoring

Yeah Mathers has said he regretted the roll and won't be doing it again. For mine, I don't mind it - but only when there's no chance of being tackled when your upside down.
