| I haven't been to the old shop since I bought my season ticket but do they have a new range of stuff in yet as I'd hate to see a shiney new shop selling reduced odd sized trackies.  |

something is better than nothing i suppose but the TRIN are the main atttraction in wakefield as far as the majority of the Wakefield public are concerned.

This is a great move by the club and a major step forward in growing the club.
With the sponsorship and this store sounds like the Ridings are fully behind us and want to work with the club, that can only be a good thing.

I guess you think that the shopping centre being built in the centre of Leeds is also named after WTRLFC too!!! |

The new store is very positive - the Ridings are now sponsoring the club, so it seems reasonable to assume that they'll be providing the unit on very favourable terms. The Ridings occupancy will equalise over the coming months and I'm sure it will lose the 'ghost town' tag - then we're left with a massively increased presence in the City Centre that could easily become a hub not just for merchandise sales, but for marketing and promotion of ST's and other initiatives.
WTW will be harder to ignore, that's for certain.
