| Well there's been enough comments over the years regards to Ted stealing all our money yet still not a single claim has ever been backed up with anything. Strikes me that people expect pure miracles, since we joined sl we have never finished bottom even had a couple of decent seasons in my eyes they have been quite successful in getting us this far, we all know they should have done better in some areas but the bile spouted on here is beyond ridiculous. You would have thought that all these wronged people would have done something more about it.

Sorry but we have clearly being spending money we don't have, the BOD should not be applauded for that. The club and Sir Rodney have paid over GBP 350k in o/s tax and now have another large amount to pay, and this does not factor in the image rights issue.
As I said on another thread, be interesting to see the non-playing staff wage bill

Ted has bankrolled the Club for years no doubt, but my critism of Ted is that he is still running the club as a family concern, not a business, if we are so deep in the brown stuff maybe we ought to be looking at cost cutting, and start to restructure the club to make it a vaiable option to potential investors ? only a suggestion, but hey-ho when i emailed the Club and suggested a membership scheme back in August last year they didn't listen to that suggestion either, Here we are 5 month later begging for a membership investor scheme, Tooo Little Toooo Late, surely the BOD must be accountable for getting the Club in such a state ?

Right!
The current BoD are to blame, the buck stops with them!
What do we do now?

Put up or shut up time, people have wanted Ted out for a long time, they've shouted long and hard, now's the time, buy £1,000 worth of shares or get a syndicate of mates to join you, and oust Ted,the chance is yours/ours.

| But if the club goes into administration then Ted & co are out anyway as the company will be run by independent administrators until a buyer can hopefully be found.

| If we let it go into admin then surely some of the said same directors could buy in again though? The only real way to 100% ensure they have to walk away is back the offer.

So here's the thing that needs clarification for me: The creditor is HMRC. Can we simply go into administration, write off the debt, and rise phoenix-like from the ashes when a new buyer comes in? Or will HMRC take a look at what we've still got left by way of assets and come after those? Can they do so? If they can, then it seems to be a clear choice - buy the shares and pay off the debt or kiss goodbye to the club. Anyone know?

| I suppose it is feasible that some of the old BoD could buy the club, but would anyone support a club that was run by the same clowns who had so comprehensively crippled it? I think a supporters trust is the way to go. People, save your money now - put it to better use when we emerge from administration.

That's what I had been thinking. The ground is an asset with a realisable value, why wouldn't that get used to pay off debt?
