| Cas on Friday was dull, the win over Salford was dull....we're not the most entertaining side ourselves either!

| I was all set to go to Wigan until my car broke down on Sat night, bloody £130 to get it towed home.
Still it meant I couldn't go today,
every cloud eh!

2. kear response not good, but thats a first, so he gets a yellow card.'"
For somebody that did not go today squire you seem to have a lot to say. If you choose not to go then thats up to you. But for those of us that made the choice to go I for one dont want to keep hearing how you are hacked off because Broughy's gone and Tronc's on his way home. Its the same feelings for me and a lot of others, the difference is we chose to go today to support the team, you did not so please keep the sarcasm and the bleating to those that wants to hear it, somehow I dont think that those what went today want to hear it.

| Disappointing comments from JK, he should be looking at his sides contribution to 80 minutes of rugby than Mick McGuires IMO. I think it not being a contest from minute 2 was the problem. Nothing against you Wakey fans, its a pity your pack didnt play so hard from the start rather than the last 20 minutes.

| To be honest one sided contests are a little like watching paint dry. Trinity mullered Salford in the first 20 and that game was incredibly dull. It picked up a little in the second half when Salford showed a bit more and Wakefield slackened off and I’m guessing, as I wasn’t there, that the game improved in the second half yesterday.

Too right me and my 2 sons betweeen us travelled over 400 miles and spent best part of £200 to watch match, for what ? once again game was over after 15 minutes with our turnstyle defence out wide. Its hard to cheer when you are missing tackles and doing little other than walk the ball ten yards forward.
We aint going anywhere till we stop leaking tries, too much time spent in our own half as a result of poor tactical kicking, and missing tackles. The only good thing about the first half was i could see what was going on as it was all in our half. One of the few positives was the continuing improvement from paul cooke, thought bj tried hard and once again morrison, korki and moore played well other than that was magic millard in an invisibility cupboard?

| I think JK was possibly reffering to the fact it was more like a wrestling match than a rugby game.

| You cannot fault the start Wigan and Mcguire have made, but defensively they seem to be very much like Huddersfield. Get bodies into the tackle and slow the game down as much as possible. Is it just coincidence that both clubs have employed new young aussie coaches recently?
Im not having a go at them because if we were fit enough to do it and get away with it i would be more than happy.

You'd better duck; the Pies have only just stopped frothing and calling for blood over on their board after JK's comments. One of them will be along soon to say some combination of the following:
1. all coaches they've beaten are bitter and inept
2. they're not doing anything illegal
3. everyone in the media hates them (except, after last night, Paul Cullen and Tez)
4. they play free flowing and sexy rugby and we're all just jealous that we don't control the ruck/play the ref as effectively as they do
5. They used to think JK was ok but they've lost all respect for him now
Personally I'm not a great fan of the tactic, but it has an air of inevitability about it now; everyone will be doing it by next season, with varying degrees of success.

Everyone is trying to do it now, at all levels of the game, its simply a fact that those who are best at it get most grief because of it. Wigan have become extremely good at it technically in a very short period of time and I will suggest we will only get better, with more work under our new coaching team.
I am happy as a Wigan fan with the way we are playing in all aspects, entertainment and in the defensive collision.
I am sure every other coach in the league would like to be moaned at about this tactic like Maguire is being at the moment.

| As a fan I'd be happy to watch it if we were as good at it as you are - 5 drives and a kick gets a bit tedious.
