| Quote little wayne69="little wayne69"First let me say without criticism of the coach every club has suffered this season with covid and the aftermath with players having to stand down because of it plus injuries to players admittedly some clubs worse than others, but I'd just like to point out where you have admitted your no coach and like the rest of us are clueless as to what's going on behind the scenes, and that all we know is what we're told which is very little unfortunately, with all that in mind I fail to grasp your point with your obvious blame of Fifita where you say he owes us, for what exactly? things are only obvious to those that know what the obvious is, one thing I will say about Fifita although we can only draw, unfairly in my mind what's gone on at the club with him, he can't be blamed for the rubbish dished up on the field.'"
Well there are two separate parts to my post ,the first part, which is simply my opinion you understand but, you linked them together . The part re Fifita, quite separate (and believe me there's no bigger fan of DF than me - when he's playing) is based on the well publicised fact that he refused to wear a monitor. Now it may be that he couldn't have played anyway, I don't know but the fact remains he was stood down for refusing to wear the monitor. Petty and not in the interests of the team. That's what I was referring to.

| Certainly the effort was there, but for me the lack of being able to get over the line with our pressure, was the sides undoing.
The worrying stat is that it is now something like 13 wins from the last 40 games, which is 32.5%. Webster won 8 from 30, which is 30%. If you still think he’s doing a great job, than fair enough, but you may want to take those rose tinted specs off.
There may be nothing to really play for, but if this continues next year, and is acceptable, we can look forward to less money, and a very uncertain future

Including two Challenge Cup losses Chester’s last 30 games Vs Super League opposition is 25 losses 5 wins for a win percentage of 16.66%
Within that sequence of 30 games we’ve failed to score in 3 games losing 10~0 v Leeds, 36-0 v Warrington & 58-0 v Catalan.
16.66%

To those who believe Chester is doing a good job the above suggest otherwise because these percentages represents failure. I am sure you agree that we only survived last season by our final day victory and this season we are almost certain to finish in the bottom two.
When all are taken together he is not only failing but failing spectacularly and next season we do not have the luxury of no relegation. There is nothing to suggest he can change his coaching or motivational style so based on the above we have a long next season ahead.

Minor point, but even if we had lost against London, Trinity would've stayed up. Doesn't alter the poor win ratio however. We really need to work on attacking structure and settle on a spine. The good work getting upto that point is wasted by the lack of ideas in the final 20.

Just a point why don’t we after 4 years change our style of play and our shape then, try something different, develop some moves, chase high balls, inside balls, and lift out predictable plays. Look at each game and play to our strengths against the opponents weaknesses and not just the same way, we make it far too easy for teams

If that's what we need to achieve success then why doesn't our head coach realise that? After all he's being well paid to know these things.

| On the subject of us not challenging our opposition with different tactics and seeing as the bloke I asked this of earlier today has run for cover, I’ll ask the same question here.
What did/does Miller create?
He poked his nose through for a try, that was good, it’s something he’s got in his locker. Otherwise what did he do, flashing your way across the face of the defence doesn’t do anything except steal the space from your wide players.
He’s our go to Half so where’s his deft, clever try creating passing game, wheres his show and go, where’s his astute decision making at the line, where’s his great short and long kicking game, where’s the pass that finds the hole in an opposition defence when we’ve had set after set after set camped on their try line?
Sorry but I’m sure he’s a whole hearted bloke who does his best but there’s no end product in terms of creativity and he’s our First Choice Half Back

He does, I read the article in the Express, he wants a organiser, I guess he thought he had that in Brough but replacing an aging Liam Finn with an even older player, sadly, and rather predictably, failed.
