Good 1st signing just what we need Happy with this

This is just the kind of signing we should be making. He's still relatively young, he's English and he's approaching what should be his peak years. I'd heard he was nailed on to replace Buderus at Leeds - I just hope this means he doesn't want to play for McDermott again rather than he's planning to play for him at Wakefield next year!

Providing we bring in more quality at half back, I'll be quite happy with Ellis, Tommy Lee and James Davey sharing the hooking duties next season, with the 2 in form getting the jersey. Definately a step in the right direction.

Exciting times at Wakey. I hope we can put on some great games next year. It gets to be hard work loosing all the time. And the new ground, I hope, just round the corner from me.

You've got to laugh at the Quins fans who can't understand why Ellis would take a backward step and sign for Wakefield. They're either delusional or in denial if they think that we don't now represent a better future for players than them!
