| Quote: Tommy Duckfingers "Is it Kears fault we did the same kick off 7 times on the trot on Sunday? The same kick off that we do every single kick off every single week?
Is it Kears fault we have gone into many, many games this year with an unfathonable bench?
Is it Kears fault we seem completely clueless in defense down the flanks and seem to be unable to count up?
Is it Kears fault he wanted to jump ship and go to Catalans and probably Bradford?
Is it Kears fault we dont seem to be able to play second halfs on the rare occasions we get to half time and we are still in the game?
Is it Kears fault we have averaged 50 points conceded in the last 3 games?
Is it Kears fault we have played well twice since Easter?
Is it Kears fault we dont seem to be anywhere near as fit as we should be?
Is it Kears fault we have such dross as Gleeson, Blanch, Korkidas, Millard, Cook, Johnson etc all virtually guaranteed a starting shirt regardless of performance?
Is it Kears fault we that the only play Millard has in his armour is catching the high bomb but we average about 1 kick every 3 games or so for him to compete for?
Still, its much easier to hide behind things like "he cannot see into the future" when it doesn't work but heap the praise on him when it does...... It cuts both ways for me.'"
I have no answer to that, its seems i have no idea at all and should never have tried to offer any explanation for the seasons ups and downs, its quite cleary all black and white.

| Quote: chapster "as time goes on im of the opinion that we should have built a team round broughy, paid him what he was on plus what we paid for newton.
as for not knowing he was broke well hello it was public knowledge 3 months before the season started, as was shudds intrest, so why not broker the move then and secure a replacement????
we never needed newton or for that matter jefferies if we had brough and morrison, with obst and latu at hooker, options would have been plentiful in attack and broughs defence was also very good.
so we replaced a player we could build a team around with with a fat useless git, a player we already had on loan, and a player who has played about 5 games in total, garbage business all round.'"
So if we did not need Jeffries who were you thinking of playing at stand off then?

| Looking at his post I'd say he was thinking of Morro as stand off, to be fair he did ok whilst playing there for Bradford when called upon.

NO.
We have discussed this and we don't agree, no point going around in circles on this one.

| I would say...
is it Kears fault that the club have suffered from decades of neglect and poor investment?
is it Kears fault that we are seen a s a selling club that values its players only as financial assets?
is it Kears fault that we are playing in an outdated stadium which had its best features ripped out during the 1970's?
is it Kears fault that the club are little more than a family run corner shop business?
is it Kears fault that junior players see playing for wakefield as a stepping stone to a larger and more glamerous club?
is it Kears fault that the club has become the resting place for third grade Australian and New Zealand players (there are some exceptions to this rule)
is it Kears fault that Belle vue is situated in one of the most run down and derelict areas a city could wish to have?
is it Kears fault that top class UK players look at the facilities the club has by comparison to others and laughs....
is it Kears fault that we have a second rate commercial set up, selling rubbish to people who dont want it?
Having done a couple of sponsorship deals with the club I soon learned not to invite my valuesd customers to the events... taking them to belle vue was often seen as an insult, many were afraid to park their cars at the ground.... it was my love of the club which made me spend the money.... I lost clients (2 in total) bacause of this rather than gained them!
a train wreck has more than one cause, and by attacking Kear you are attacking the symptom not the ailment!

Absolutely spot on.
In my opinion, everything you've described will continue until Ted and his various hangers-on are removed from the club. We're run by amateurs and that culture permeates everything about WTW.

To be honest, I don't need you or anybody else to join any "band wagon" and I dont really see a "baying pack". You want reasoned discussion then answer the points I (and others) have raised reference onfield perfomances and recruitment amongst others instead of getting the monk on......

Totally agree mate.
As for the original poster, Cool4Kats, FFS get a grip. Those of us in the Kear Out Brigade (as you call it) have done nothing but provided reasoned arguments as to why he should go. There have also been suggestions as to who might come in and coach etc...
Whilst the only reason those in the keep Kear brigade can come up with, is there's no one better !!! Anybody who has seen the teams performances over the last couple of months, would have difficulty convincing me that anyone could do any worse.
My loyalty is to the entity Wakefield Trinity and not to the coach. We are in the most crucial stage of our history and Kears actions have destabilised us no end. I keep hearing people say he is one of the only good things about the club and a key part of our franchise application credibility - well sorry but thats garbage - everyone in RL knows he wants out - so the fact we still have him in place IMO actually damages our application (particularly as the by products of his continued employment are gash performances and reduced attendances).
It takes balls to make a decision for the better of the club, its actually far easier to look back to what Kears done in the past and maintain the status quo.
Kear has my thanks for what he has done in the past, but professional sport is based on the here and now and he just isn't cutting it anymore.
As for the pathetic comment about coaching gurus etc..., I don't profess to be a coaching guru, but the sad fact is that if I as a spectator can see where the problems in the teams performances and tactics lie, why the hell can't the professional coaching team that have made a living out of it!!!

It is very difficult to try and argue with your reasoning if I were a Kear in member, as the last few months' will add weight to your points of view. The only reservations I have with Kear out is who will we replace him with. Del boy and Rodney had the chance a month ago, but the only thing they could see as with Danny Brough was a nice little earner, if they do it now it will cost us and if they pick somebody what isnt up to it then we will be paying double for the same rubbish, the only consolation in that is Del and Rod would be looking for somebody on the cheap so it maybe wouldnt be that expensive. Tried to stay positive but the reasoned arguments put down by the Kear out members (and I dont mean the compulsive whingers) far outway any counter claims for him to stay by the Kear in members. Clean sweep through the club for me and that includes some of the drama queens on here as well.

| Why does Kear want out though? Does he think that WTW will not get a franchise spot after next season?
The rumours re: Tronc that I heard were that he wanted to go home because the digs the club gave him were awful and they had trouble remembering to pay his wages. That's not Kear's fault.
I'm not Kear's biggest fan, he was a bad coach for Huddersfield. But he seemed to click with Wakefield, something must have happened to change that?
