Do you think that Gale will still be at Leeds next season ?
Btw, I'm not suggesting he will be at Trinity, just not at Leeds

He's out for season now anyway.

| Samisoni Langi isn't happening. Shame as he was the one that i thought would be the best of all the signings.

| Lodging a compliant with the RFL? Must be pretty confident over the legalities of the signed contract. Citing the Chester sacking is just a convenient excuse, it's not as if we had an inspiration coach on our books. Anyhow use the money to divert resource to the forwards.

That's the problem, going by that it doesn't sound as if there actually was a signed contract, just an agreement.

I guess not everyone considers an 'agreement' as a signed contract then. Better just moving on as what do we expect to gain from the complaint, Langi isn't going to change his mind and I doubt Catalans will pay a fee.

| Interesting to see that a lot of Wire fans have Lineham above Charnley in the pecking order at there club, I wouldn`t of thought so myself but I guess they see him every week? As I say, if he can cut out the silly antics, which we really cannot afford to deal with at this club then I think he will be a really good signing for us, a lot seem to think the 3 year deal has swayed him to Wakefield as he was rumoured to be going to Leeds or FC earlier this year.

He’s not as good as Charley imho but he does have an X factor. Might win a team like us a game a season, which makes him a valuable player.
One thing is for certain, he’s a fully committed player and for us that has to be the number one priority.

Reading wire site seems Lineham is seem as the better winger. I think I’m more not happy because Kershaw is progressing leaps and bounds. In reality we never replaced BJB and Lineham will be good for us.
I hope we sign Kershaw to fight it out with Lineham for right wing. TJ and Murphy to fight out for left wing. Kay for emergency cover. Looks good to me.

I wouldn`t be surprised to see Kay continue to spelled at 9 you know, he is going well there and with a full pre season I think he would make a good impact 9 to spell Hood.

I think he’s made it clear where he wants to play and is backing it up with performances.
As Belly pointed out Kay was a promising HB when he joined us and to many people’s mind he’s been wasted on the wing.
He may not be an out and out hooker like Hood or Wood but he’s certainly a pivot player who brings something every time he plays there

His first outing I feared was a flash in the pan but he’s played well consistently now for three? games in that position and looks a natural.
Don’t think he’s an 80 minute player in that position but spelled with a more conventional 9 he should remain very effective.
What I can’t get my head around is how a clearly creative player like this was exiled onto the wing. He was a HB as a junior and a good one, either he lost interest or all his previous coaches had zero imagination. Only in the British game.
Good spot CC. Though not the first time I’ve seen it, anyone remember Kelly pre SL converting Kenworthy from wing to SH with great success?
By the way nothing wrong with being a winger if that’s what you are but we really need as a sport to spend more time finding out players true positions. I’m convinced 20% of players are out of position, trapped where they were placed often as young as eight.

The flair has been coached out of players, as it's all about percentages and field position.
Sam Tomkins is now seen as somewhat of a 'freak', who does off the cuff stuff to release pressure, I think that's why a lot of people like Catalans, they look to play rugby, will be interesting to see if they can replace Maloney, who's been good for them.
There was a time you had Steadman, Fox, Davies, Holding to name a few, who you enjoyed watching, the game has become stale and robotic.
