Adam was one player who was so very highly respected and thought of by fellow players, fans and anyone really connected with the sport.
I think that we have been ever so lucky to have had the pleasure of Adam's presence within the game.
As fans, we have felt very touched by Moana, and her family's very sad loss.
We all know that money will never ever replace a lost one, but hopefully the efforts of them concerned will go some way to ease any future financial burden.
We'll definitely sort the photo stuff out and stick them on here after the walk.

| First of all, may I say a massive thankyou, to each and every one of you that did the walk today.
When Mark, Lel and I were on our own in that carpark, it was a superb sight, seeing the Wakey cavalry coming over the hill.
Please don't feel offence if I don't mention you on here, but BigAl & Acko, you kept us all motivated along the way.
Acko, Matt & Bernice, many many thanks for getting us accomodated at the WMC. It was a lovely break and a superb spread for us weary travellers.
Amazing that the age range was between 10 and 70 years on the walk and we only had one casualty.
On a personal note, I'm blistered, stiff legs and exhausted. I can but applaude everyones efforts today and give you Wakey guys a heartfelt thankyou for looking after us.

Can we thank you and Ponner for making the effort to help support the Watene family, without fans like you we would be in a poor state, and it reminds us all that the games fans can pull together when needed.
