I was surprised when Wakefield actually signed Trueman, and especially on marquee money too? This kid hasn't played that many minutes each season for god knows how long now? Matt Ellis is going to have to sell plenty more kitchens just to cover sicknote Truey's salary and his sick note.
Trueman is a fantastic player without a doubt,But his game time each season is a huge problem, and that is currently Wakefields issue now
Agree completely ,getting shot down for calling him a dud The stand-off is the most important position on the park ,and you need him on the park for a least 20 PLUS games a season . In fairness did say we should stay well clear before we signed him Completely different if a player as given your team 4 or 5 good seasons and is out for a lot of weeks you can expect that but not a new player

| Maybe you are both right but the intention was to get a quality player in and there were limited options. We clearly thought we could handle his fitness better The injury itself isn't the same as he's had before so hard to predict.
Hopefully he'll come back now and show us why Powell wanted him.

Yep, and I'd rather wait until the end of the season and see how many games he plays before passing any judgement.

In fairness did say we should stay well clear before we signed him Completely different if a player as given your team 4 or 5 good seasons and is out for a lot of weeks you can expect that but not a new player Hardly shot down, just a crappy phrase to use about a guy that's injured and only missed what 5 games or so and played 4 so far IMO. As I said, a dud is a bit personal and usually used on players who come for a holiday and don't pull their weight, and we've had a few of those over the years to call out. As I said and others above, why not wait till the end of the season before ripping into an injured player if you feel you must? As I said, we brought him over and did a full medical on him and the injury he had & he was probably the best British half we could get in our position coming up from the Championship. His latest injury is a new one, and DP has said he's expecting him back, so why not wait and see what he does for us this season? If you turn out right, I'd agree he'll have been a poor buy, but that's RL unfortunately sometimes.

| Just to add to the list apparently Myers was playing on one leg in second half for Batley.
Think that takes us potentially back to 9/10 out again. Hopefully a couple back or make the game vs Cas.

Cozza possibly 1-2 week too. Wonder if we will dip into a short term deal or look for a prop before deadline. Lingard may have to step up this week if needs must. Croft did well at prop so he will probably step in again. Faatili and Vagana to lead the charge Friday.

Really tough for Rodwell. I was really looking forward to seeing him in SL. Awful luck this year. Last year he looked absolutely bullet proof.

| Yeah, I think out of all the players we already had last season, most of us fans were looking forward to watching Rodwell in SL this season the most but he's had bugger all luck so far this year. Hopefully, he can return at some point and show us what we've been missing and go on to have an injury-free season next season.

| On the negative side, Uele was telling folk last night that he is likely to be out for 8-12 weeks... On the positive side, Rodwell is likely to be fit for the Salford game in 3 weeks
