That's kinda what happens when you lose 3 games in 8 days
I think they call it......Mathematics ?
I'd prefer it if they'd space the same losses out across the season more evenly but, we'd just get some dingbat whinging about how inconsistent we are.
At least this way, assuming we go on and win a few on the bounce, we get a rest from the doom mongers for a week or two.

Now that made me chuckle.

| Just watched it back.
We tackled Wigan out for 4 repeat sets at one stage. We were well capable of stopping them.
Unfortunately we made errors with ball in hand. On the whole it was us rather than the ref but the Huby knock on was a key one.
The ball was knocked down by Wigan anyway, it went backwards even if he did drop it and the whole Wigan line was a step in front of the line so should have been a penalty which would have brought it level and changed the focus of the play. The cross field camera angle clearly shows it.
It's a pity but it is what it is.

| Another game we could of/should of put to bed, especially with the amount of possession we had in that 2nd half. But a few poor decisions and silly errors cost us the game. Can't fault the effort from the lads and the defense on the whole was pretty good, just that little bit of cutting edge in their 20 was lacking at crucial times. Yes the ref was garbage and you'd hope the poor calls even themselves up by the end but tbh we should have made him irrelevant ateotd.
On the whole though, yes we have lost 2 back to back, but it's hardly the end of the world or even close to it. We've had imo one of the hardest Easter periods of any team & lost to probably the 2 best teams in the League, so onwards and upwards. Still plenty of games left and points to claim. Hopefully the injury situation isn't too bad & we'll put something together against Wire and get back on the horse.

In reality, we should be looking at winning at least three of these games to stay within touching distance of the Top 8'"
Some defo winnable games there imo, especially after Wire away. If Injuries aren't too bad, I'd like to think we're well capable of winning 4 of those tbh.

So we win 5 out of 6 or whatver it was, we then lose against a team playing red hot RL who are top of the League and then lose very closely against the World Champs & GF winners and apparentely the 'Bubble's well and truly burst now', come on . We lost a few in a row at the start and things changed, that's the nature of Sport. You really do love the doom and gloom don't you mate.

This is irrelevant. Wigan were there for the taking and we blew it big style. Is there a RL equivalent of an own goal?

| The next 5 games will imo make or break our season. We need to be winning a minimum of 3 of them any less than that and we will struggle to make the 8

Its going to be an even bigger struggle for Widnes, bottom at the mo.they will have to win 9 out of their remaining 13 games to reach 21 points, Giants next to bottom and 12 games left will need to win 7 to reach 20 points and Leigh in 10th position will have to win 7 out of remaining 12 to get 20 points. It then gets interesting with Warrington in 9th.who need 7 wins out of 13 games left to reach 21 points, i think thats probably within their reach so a win against them on Saturday will be good for us. the middle of the table is going to get very interesting in the next few games.

| We've got to get as many from this next 5 games as possible as the next block of games is much tougher to get wins from

No it's not at all irrelevant when it's in reply to a post of 'Bubble's well and truly burst now'. I said myself before that post, didn't I that we should have won, but that's not the issue is it. It's to do with the completely ott remark from the usual person who seems to get off when we lose.
If our bubble's well and truly burst after a couple of loses, god knows what some other teams are thinking.

Why where are all these people that have said that if lose to Wire it's squeaky bum time, I can't see anyone except you make that one game a big deal?
Especially when we have Catalans (H), Leigh (A), Widnes (MW), Huddersfield (H) staright after that. Personally I think we could win all 4 of those, if we played anything like near decent. The only thing that anyone seems to agree on is, we need to win at least 3 of those 5. Even you might fancy us to win 3 out of those hey.

I blame his uncle Alf for all this, ever since he started taking him to Elland Road he's had this attitude bordering on arrogance before then all he talked about was Trinity even though he hardly went, that's because his uncle Alf hates trinity and refuses to take him. Just thought I'd give you a bit of an insight into the problem so hopefully you'll be a bit more sympathetic to our William
