This business of not being able to build houses until a new stadium fit for superleague is built in the wakefield area, would the new cas stadium be classed as being in the wakefield area when its built?, hence could our club buy the ground then sell it for housing when the cas ground has been built and we could use the money to build our new ground at Newmarket.

i would have thought it depends on wording in legal documents, whether if its purely within "Wakefield City"boundary or the "Wakefield Metropolitan District Council" area. Castleford as a town is in the WMDC area, is Castleford's new stadium plan WMDC or Wakefield City, i myself think its the WMDC area but i could be wrong. maybe more work for the lawyers.

There's nowhere to put a training pitch unless we annex the adjacent cemetery or bulldoze St Catherine's St.

Is now the time for SWAG/Stadium trust to reveal the terms of the offer that yorkcourt made previously? Is this offer still on the table? Is there a willingness from yorkcourt to assist with the purchase?
It's all well and good average fans guessing on a forum, but there are some far better placed to give an idea of what is feasible.

Unfortunately, while there's much going on at the moment and some important meetings coming up, the talks are at a delicate stage and for reasons of confidentiality they can't say any more even though they'd like to but please trust them that things have moved in a positive direction recently and an update will be forthcoming as soon as they can tell us more.

I think it might be easier to win 3 trophies than get any info owt out of whoever is acting on our behalf, and lets not forget how good it would be to shut the gobs of all them fans what think they know more about us than we do ourselves, although they wouldn't have to know much they'd just keep making it up, but the trouble is we couldn't prove em wrong

I notice on the bbc leeds website new retail park to start on 9 acre site at snow hill, wonder why this site wasn't considered as site for new stadium years ago when the thorns park debacle took place.
