Quote Wakefieldite="Wakefieldite"All these people who want John Kear out of Belle Vue ought to consider this:
Before he came, we were almost accepting the fact that we were gonna be relegated from Super League after a dreadful season with players not being fit enough, never mind strong and being guided by a bloke called Tony Smith who without confusing him with his Australian namesake, was a sound scrum half may have been the saltest of earthly fellas for all we'd have known, however he was way two pally towards the players and seemed a damn sight happier on the golf course rather than on the training field.
Once he went, in comes Kear and miraculously gets us out of the relegation trapdoor, then what happens after that: the crowds grew at Belle Vue, after two close calls of getting to the playoffs, we made it there in 2009 and not to mention semi final stages of the Challenge Cup Final. But today's catastrophe cannot blamed on Kear alone, no; those "players" must shoulder the majority of the blame as they should not need reminding of what they, who they play for and how to perform, if that's the case, then those souls should speak now.
Now a lot of you will probably be wondering what if we get rid of coach now: maybe something along the lines of being refused a franchise and therefore quietly fading away into a less distinguished existence and all because of too many gutless players who couldn't care less.'"
nice write up, the facts are we have improved each year, we should of beaten Catalan last season in the play offs but failed,
yesterdays game had two lucky tries against us and players just shrugging their shoulders and not putting in the graft, the last twenty we seemed to pick up the pace or more panic and it failed, this needs to be instilled from the start but we know that,
we'll see either a change of attitude by the players or player power once again
there a couple of players I would drop and wouldn't see another game of rugby for me, let them waste away in limbo
