All these people who say we should keep so and so on at whatever unknown price, and get so and so in at this price, dont have to balance the books and work out the contracts themselves do they - that is left up to the experts who do it year in year out. We have not done badly since we came into SL so lets keep trust with our great management team to keep us moving onwards.

How would you guys rate Atkins now, compared to Westwood in 2002 when he left Wakefield?

I'm a bit so-so on this signing but I guess you can see Atkins does have raw potential, he is powerful and can do damage.

He's a good player and could be a great player, if he fits in and learns how to pass he'll be fine. Strong, great footwork and fast.

I think he'll go well at Wire.

Westwood was a fairly unknown quantity then even at Wakey and physically under developed, it was a brave but wise move by Warrington. Atkins is much further down the line, all he really needs to do is perfect his game thinking wise the rest is already in place.

I really don't know why folk bother with you as you're clearly a bit slow however...

Grix confirmed as leaving today as well in RL Express. 2 year deal with Hudds. They're also looking at another ex Wakey in Kyle Wood. Also Leeds fan at work told me we're interested in signing Ryan Bailey, i'm 50/50 about this one but that would give us one rough pack esp. if we retain Korki!

Not for me, there are better players in the national conference than Ryan Bailey unfortunately they haven't had the chances he's enjoyed.

Wire fans seem convinced that Paul Johnson is coming to us as part of the deal, also a suggestion that Ben Westwood could be involved in the deal. I wonder what fee Wire are paying for Ryan, according to erm, Martin,erm Offiah the deal for Myler is worth up to £275k, depending on appearances. Myler only had 1 year left on his contract, seems a bit OTT to me. I think Ryan`s contracted for longer than that, will this be reflected in the fee, (and will we ever get to know)?

Paul johnson CANNOT be part of the deal he's out of contract so he can do whatever he pleases. Talk round wire of Westwood bein involved in a sinfield deal. Not sure on bailey I don't rate him but if kear can work his bibey/Moore magic on him it could turn out handy
