Klein was just an out and out bad referee, bad for everyone not just us. If you watch the youtube highlights of that game, as much as we never got into it with the sin bins, our garbage tackling / defence didn't keep us in it at all - that's before the joke shop try conceded in the second half. That's what really cost us the game.

There was some sort of change in how the cap was policed that year or rather the year after

it's now viewed live I believe to stop obvious breaches , all be it Salford still did last year, so not sure how that works
back then the accounts were viewed at the end of the season which was why wigan were able to breach it openly
