I think the transformation of this side in the space of a couple of weeks is amazing really.

From a side that had scored 2 tries in 160 minutes of rugby league, to scoring 26 in 4 games, not to mention the defence.

I am trying to stay and remain grounded though given that we have played some under strength sides. We can though only play what is in front of us.

We have got a tough few weeks ahead of us with Hull and Warrington at home. Would love to be still in the running with a comfortable cushion points wise, come magic weekend.

I would be very tempted to rest a few for the Sheffield game, and give some of the other squad a run out such as Hall, Owen, Howarth etc, to make sure our core squad remain fit

That said, so many players had their best games in RWB today including Ashurst, Arundel, BJB and Scott Moore.

BJB looks a different player on the wing and hopefully he is enjoying it.

At the pre-season meet the fans BJB said he came to Wakey because Brian Smith said he would play fullback.

This year, due to the distance involved and the usual disappointment and a busy work/life schedule, I decided to cherry-pick games, going to the potentially competitive ones and skipping the obvious drubbings.

So far I've skipped Huddersfield, Leeds and Wigan.

Any more you'd like me to miss?
