Where did I say it was a top quality game?
Neither have I suggested that at full strength were a match for Leeds at full strength just that both teams were similarly handicapped by absentees tonight rather than the impression SKY were giving that Leeds were missing loads and us none.
So try getting it right before being a sanctimonious nkob!

I think you're being a little harsh; two teams missing key players, a close, hard-fought battle, nicked in the closing minutes by the massive underdog - what's not to like?!'"
Maybe I've been watching too much NRL, because I found it error strewn & a tad predictable, except for the result.
I'm sure there's many a non-Wakefield fan that enjoyed Leeds getting beat, I just found it a bit hollow, compared with past (very rare) victories.

| Jesus, I know it's been miserable on here this season but surely you can enjoy tonight's win over Leeds!
The players ran their blood to water, tackled themselves to a standstill, got up off the floor and found a way to win and showed some class in scoring the Mathers try in particular.

You don't need to insult me simply because I have a different opinion to you.
Leeds were not similarly handicapped to us, with a full squad against ours, they would batter us.
From a neutrals point of view, it was a poor quality game.

| Don't be sanctimonious then!
LeedsMoon, Hall; Sutcliffe, McGuire; Bailey, Aiton, Peacock, S Ward, Delaney, Minchella.
ReplacementsWalters, Singleton, R. Ward, Mulhern.
I've bolded the players who don't have decent levels of SL experience while the internationals are highlighted in red, not so handicapped as SKY would have us believe

For me Jones Bishop scored the try of the match and imo was their best player, just out of interest where would you have played him had Hardaker been available, that's the problem when you have such a big squad like Leeds you can only play 17 at once so there are always gonna be players' out, The only player they missed was Sinfield with his goal kicking and his refereeing.

| Some people seem determined not to enjoy watching Wakefield.
We just beat Leeds and are on an unbeaten run when we weren't sure of any whhen we started.
Enjoy it.

| Glad others picked up on Hemminings ramblings. He also made a point on 3 separate occasions of referring to how many players we had on loan

| The Sky coverage and in particular Hemmings was very poor. Just as a matter of interest how much did that Leeds team differ from the game against the Cats.
Hemmings seemed to be on some kind of rant mode, he constantly made reference to the under powered Leeds squad and the Wakey loan s.
As A wakey fan we will take any kind of win , but our pack last night beat the Leeds pack hands down and man for man in the backs we probably just shaved it.
At no time during the whole game did Hemmings give the Wakey team any kind of credit, and only once made small talk about Kirmond

Yep Jones Bishop's try was excellent, if Hardaker had played I would have put him on Briscoe's wing, I think Leeds have made a big error regarding his release.
Sinfield guides Leeds round the pitch, ala Timmy, but their pack was missing some serious grunt.

Well I'm a neutral and I thoroughly enjoyed it. What Webbo has achieved since you got rid of "you know who" is nothing short of amazing. I don't think we need to see any further mention of the Dulls from now on. They're gone and you're safe, as (hopefully) are we. Well done on a great performance.
