Each to their own I guess. We have the best playing surface in the league and a view from any part of the ground that allows you to actually see what is going on. DW stadium - its like sitting at the top of a step ladder watching subutteo - you can keep it.

I love Belle Vue, it's a great stadium non sanitised by the Sky movement.

Is it good for the game or club probably not but does that make it any less great a venue?......No.

I didn't start the Walshaw thread to criticise Lyne being included. I was at the time I posted it merely pointing out that imo it was a harsh decision to leave Walshaw out based on recent performances.

I am sure I was not alone pre kick off in holding that view.

As it happens Lyne came in and had a good came as did Mathers and even Scruton looked better. All that said does not mean that previous criticism of those players performances were not justified. In fact, if anything them playing like that shows that past criticism was correct.

Watching the highlights, it looks like Owen is well out of position for 3 of their tries. Not bagging him, just need to tighten that sort of stuff up. Looked like Ryan was getting a bit annoyed by it. Shame they didn't show the handbags though.
