Not a problem with bradford having coolcash on board but if it was shown that there was a definite conflict and proved to send a team down do to match fixing then the two teams of the owner would get relegated in stead. We can't afford to loose money from the sport as theres not much out there willing to help

What I am on about is conflicts of interest, as is staggeringly obvious to even the hardest of understanding and most wilful of the obtuse.

The fact that two parties with clear family and financial interests in common would undoubtedly in the courts be considered a clear potential conflict of interest.

Given that the RFL have demonstrated that they have a strong financial interest in keeping the dulls afloat I am sure that if the only game in town then any rational decision process will be thrown out to protect the leagues own interests

On the subject of joint interests and votes at the RFL it sure did Sheffield and Gateshead a lot of good having the hetheringtons voting on their behalf

Yes and the comparison of the Koucash situation and the Hetheringtons is patently different, some that only the hardest of thinking would not be able to grasp.

Hetheringtons - Two employees of different clubs, both with influential positions but not the final say on decisons and at all times have someone independant above them (messrs Carter & Caddick) able to make the decisions or overule ones that have been made.

Koucashs - Two owners of different clubs answerable to nobody. What they say goes with no comeback or questions asked by anyone with any seniority.

You could of course also bring up the time when GH was in charge of Leeds but had sold most but very from all of his stake in Sheffield.

It doesn't take much effort to see that what constitutes a conflict of interest from the RFLs perspective is nebulous at best. I have said I don't know what the rules are and I'm really not that inclined to go look them up. I just don't think it's obvious that this situation falls foul of them.

The suggestion that Mandy koucash is interested in buying Bradford independently of her husband is clearly ridiculous.In the seven minute interview on Sky .Marwan did 99% of the talking ,his wife had very little to say about anything.

No doubt she will speak to the RFL on her own, without her husbands interference, just like she didn't interfere when he bought Salford.

I am sure the RFL would prefer if he introduced some of his millionaire racing mates to our great game rather than buying up teams himself.

Unfortunate that someone with money comes along and puts it into clubs when P&R is back on.

To try and compare Mandy and Kath's knowledge, experience and love of the game is ludicrous. And anyone suggesting to Kath that she can be influenced or controlled by a third party had better be wearing some robust protection !

OK - for what it is worth. I believe that if the good doctor wants to own 2 clubs then I doubt the RFL have the required physical attributes to stop him. Any questions and he points at the Hetheringtons. Kath may know the game and Mandy does not but it is still husband and wife so what can they say.
I just hope he does not buy into Bradford and abandon Salford.
Anyway has he got any offspring that want into a tidy little club who know where to find a good welder.
