I can't see where he said that. I think he's right we don't Want to see any more trouble at belle Vue. Wakey fans want to stand in our new stand if it doesn't become wakey only it will end up like last night and a away fans tend to arrive at belle Vue early they'll just go on the north stand then all home fans will be trying to get in and we have problems. The trouble with covered terracing everything is louder and everything gets esculated quicker that's why you rarely see mixed covered terracing. In a perfect world we would all stand together home & away fans side by side sharing sweets and shaking hands at full time but sadly that's rare these days so designated away terrace on eastern terrace is only option

Just like the south stand at Leeds, east stand at HKR, the covered terrace at Warrington it's not just wakey its about producing a better atmosphere for the home fans which passes onto the team

Another load of crap we have always stood together but now cos we have a roof we are now holier than thou and all it's doing is causing trouble hope you all enjoy the north stand and stay dry in the rain and watch all the away fans you have peed off bunch of gonads.

There were no problems before the word segregation got mentioned so why dont we just let fans mix together. Simple. If theres enough wakefield fans there the away fans wont stand there anyway. So just get there early and take the north stand over. #justsaying

Rick Wright spends more time viewing things Trinity related than Fully does. They are like the guy who beat Luke up on Hollyoaks because they are afraid of their true colours.

Spot on, if the crowds are mixed they kind of look after them selves, but put all the nutters together and they all jump on the band wagon and think that they are 20 men!!! When it's mixed other normal spectators of both teams keep the nuggets in check (confront them one on one and 99% of the time they realise they are being fools and back down)

Also it gives them a target to throw missiles when the other side of the stand is the opposition. We have in the past had small pockets of trouble with mixed crowds but nothing on the level of Friday.

It was a deliberately exaggerated point. I'm not trying to make actual comparisons between the two, and if this has caused offense, I apologise.

For me, there's a world of difference between trying to encourage people to congregate in one place in an open ground to support their team and actually trying to prevent people from standing in certain places. I'm not a fan of segregation. It's a different issue in modern, all-seater stadia, and logistically hard to avoid, but there's no need for it at Belle Vue, IMO, especially when it's pretty much un-enforceable anyway. People will decide for themselves. Some like to be in a large group with their fellow supporters, others like to mix with fans from the other team and enjoy a bit of banter. Freedom of choice, all fairly civilised.

If its mixed it will create more problems it alright saying its always been mixed but it's not always been covered. A covered terrace attracts the more vocal fan which causes problems when fans mix. I can't think of Many mixed covered terrace in RL and if the north stand is policed correctly will be a great benefit to the club

Princess St at Cas. Both Hull clubs use it fine with Cas fans.

How many covered terraces are there? Segregated or otherwise?
