It’s not his warts that bother me, I think he’s probably past his best now, certainly for the money he’d cost.

Long shot but with the Josh Dugan news coming out of AUS this morning, I’d be forgetting about Hardaker and going all out for Duges.  |

I think Huddersfield would be the most likely destination, unless Leeds want him back.
I could see him at Hull KR too but he may balk at the idea of another commute. |

Dugan three or four seasons ago probably but the injuries have taken their toll to the point he is way below the player he was. It will be interesting to see if he gets a club in SL and who knows the current visa status.

29 and past his best  wow there's still a good few years left in him and he's far better than what we do have now |

He’s put a post on Instagram where he confirms he’ll be putting time into his business but I wouldn’t rule it out as he states NRL not RL when saying his time is over. You’re right though, not the same player he was a few years back. |

Why the shock, it's perfectly reasonable. Also, I said he was past his best for the money we'd have to spend not that he's past it as a player. For that money, we'd need to be looking at a player being more like 25 with 5-6 years ahead of them, certainly for a FB.
For a moneybags club, he's an excellent signing but not for us, he'd take way too much of our budget. Also, do you seriously think he's the player to take us forward? He's good but he doesn't offer what Westerman did or Fifita does. Backs also need players around them who can give them the chances they need, as shown we can't offer that at present.
So in conclusion, if we had Hardaker money I can think of better ways to spend it. Just my opinion.
