Woefully lacking in attacking options.
Agar tried to change things around by putting Smith at six and whilst he scored an excellent individual try, we were still struggling and our last play options ware awful.
It's too late for this season but, I hope that Agar & co have a plan.'"
I think not. 2 seasons in now and there is no sign of any meaningful or lasting change. The end of last year was sadly a flash in the pan. Same patterns, same errors, same stupid selection and bench interchange choices...we were warned

Is it a coincidence so many games end up with an almost even penalty count? I think it's definitely psychological.'"
Pretty much my assessment of his performace today too. Lacked consistency and lacked guts. Poor effort.

| For years we have signed Australians who come here with big reputations- and these guys don't perform. Are you seriously telling me that there isn't an English prop or second row able to do the same job as some of the Trinity imports? They take the money, then collapse into the first tackle and never break the line.
What's the problem- is flair coached out of these players?
Don't make me laugh, I'm too fed up from today's game to even raise an ironic smile. It's utterly dire, Lee Smith's try was excellent and that was the highlight of my otherwise rubbish afternoon.
Pass me the absinthe and a razor.

| So who were the overseas forwards who didn't perform today? Raleigh was poor, Poore was miles better.

| I don't get this criticism of Raleigh - he's been great for us and, barring his period of injury, very consistent; he wins the collision in both attack and defence and although he's not a tackle-busting prop, he gets a quick ptb and has decent feet.
It's a shame to vent your frustration on any single player, but it's downright daft to direct it at one who does the small things right week in and week out.

The strong rumour is Bradford. Also Addy to be announced as our next signing shortly.

Smith going to re sign for us.
Due to the Addy rumour I watched him closely yesterday.
My first impression was his strange body shape. He has a massive backside and thick thighs and looks like a prop from the waist down. Top half has small shoulders and thin trunk and looks like a back.
He played quite well yesterday and showed some nice things both in attack and defence.
My only question is where will he play, because like his body he looks a mix and match sort of player.

He does have a wierd body shape! I noticed that. People on here have mentioned his as a stand off? We need to improve our short kicking game so maybe he can do that??

From what I've read thats the issue with him. He doesn't have a set position. If he settles down in one area then it may be beneficial. Made a decent break and swung momentum Bradfords way, but didn't notice him for the rest of the game.

| I'd play Addy at Loose IMO has a decent kicking game and can pick out weak links in defences (Yesterday running at T Smith.)

With that I assume Washbrook, as has been rumoured, would be leaving. There's no way he wouldn't be in the side if he was still at the club.
