trinfan71 - you are clearly not a driven individual in your chosen profession. Tronc is a highly paid professional sportsman' sometimes you have to do things you dont desperately want to do. People often have to sacrifice say 6 months worth of their personal life to succeed in their chosen profession. He should have played for the rest of the season, end of story.

I think the difference is that Clinton O'Brian wasn't all that and most people would agree that until recently Tronc was. That's the hard thing to swallow. We are loosing a very good prop (very difficult to replace).

Agreed - man needs a bit of class IMO.

But having said that, if I had just signed for say York, and then the opportunity came up to play for Wakey and it might be my only chance to play for em - then I might react in a similar fashion to Tronc.

Obviously we don't know the exact ins and outs but in reality it can be hard to keep your principles sometimes.
