And when one of ours self-isolates so we don't travel there, and we get points docked? What's good for Leeds is good for us?
The RFL need to get their 'arrises back here and discuss contingency plans instead of gallivanting in New York, pulling balls out of bags for the next round of a tournament that may end up being cancelled.

| But yet the latest I've heard is, the player is only suspected of having it, it hasn't been confirmed, so if it turns out he hasn't, the RFL will probably be more likely to punish Leeds for not fulfilling the fixture!

| The rules are in place to deter abuse of the systems believe it or not some organisations have been known to try and cheat the system which is why the RFL will check and confirm all the information and make a decision accordingly.

Yeahh, but I wouldn't trust the RFL to organise a p**s up in a brewery would you?

| Indeed but they have a stab at these things, the plans sensible the execution is always questionable due to the managers who struggle to actually manage, they get really good titles though

I agree.
There could well be a few hundred Leeds fans already over there and with 4 towns in Catalonia already in quarantine, the decision by the Leeds side not to travel, looks like a good one.
It will be interesting to see if they are playing next week, although, RL may have gone the same way as football by then, with the competition suspended ?

| Enjoy tonight as it will be last game for quite a while
Frightening prospect and on a lighter note we can now look forward to super league gold for the next 2 months on sky to fill the gaps

| According to the advice, there's more risk in the pub than an open air sports ground; so I'll be at the game, but may forego the walk up to Fernandes afterwards.

Didn't Boris yesterday suggest there was no evidence stopping public 'gatherings' would help slow the rate down? Seems a change of mind pretty quickly, I wonder how long before schools close, even though they were suggesting that wouldn't help matters either!

It's all about controlling the "peak" apparently.
All those that can catch the virus probably will, it's just that the effects are different depending on the individual and if everyone contracts the virus at the same time, our systems and NHS wont cope too well.
We have to roll with it and hope that the experts are right or, at least that they're not totally wrong.
When you hear about 1000's of people dyeing, it's all a bit too bloody real.

There isn't any evidence as far as I'm aware - hence my point.
As for closing schools - that will come; the problem if they do it now is that for it to be effective, it would need to be in place for around 14 weeks - which is simply unconscionable. There is also some argument that it's actually better for kids to be observing routine, being subject to the schools infection control measures etc, than it is to be schlepping around at home and inevitably, going out.
This is the 'delay' phase remember - so the project now is to let it spread, but slowly, in as managed a way as possible, so that the vast majority of us who will get it and experience only mild symptoms followed by a full recovery, will start to create herd immunity. Meanwhile, those people who are additionally vulnerable, can be looked after in healthcare settings in a staged way, instead of all at once.

I couldn't go to the game with out a "straightener".
Watching Trin necessitates something to calm the nerves pre match and sometimes yo need something afterwards, especially if Child has been "in charge".
Going back to your point, it seems that our old stadium is ideal for these situations, even the gents in open air (nearly).
