The club needs to get more media savvy and the PR game needs playing much better. I noted that during Richard Wrights interview that they were never worried about their franchise security because of A B C & D etc. I don't believe that for a minute but it helps maintain the illusion that Castleford are streets ahead of us, well done to Cas for adopting this strategy it's up to us to match and surpass them.

With the redevelopment of Belle Vue, Newmarket hopefully not far away, new sponsors, new players and lots of other positive initiatives in the pipeline, the club needs to position itself well to make the most of it all.

You have to admire the bloke, he never blinks.

But he says it with such belief, nobody thinks to challenge it.
He must be gutted with only a c license, he'd talked the club up so much, yet only delivered the same licence as 2008, and nobody knows for sure that they weren't the team in the RFLs crosshairs!!!

I thought exactly the same thing; unless we start attacking this 'fact' on a relentless and regular basis, the 'saved by Crusaders' tag will be firmly emblazoned on our foreheads for years to come.

In my opinion, we need to make two urgent appointments; a new Head Coach and a Head of Communications.

I'll certainly go with you on the latter. Though to be fair the thing I like most about AG is his PR nouse so now he has more time he may take it on board himself.

It's not fair enough for me - he sounds like a man who's expecting to be here next season; not a good thing in my view.
