| Quote brearley84="brearley84"Mullally will bring you plenty of enthusiasm , hes a big lad and good go forward whos hard to put down but he is poor in defence and cant do big minutes, been a long term project at the giants but now going to leeds, he shows no loyalty, left widnes for us after they sent him to oz too.'"
We've had a lot of long term projects that have gone to other clubs!
There's one in particular that seems to end up with our projects, who could that be?
Take it on the chin old boy and accept that we maybe your feeder club but you are still Leeds feeder club.
He can't be that bad if he's off to Leeds, same could have been said about Kyle Amor and he's not doing too badly.
As for the other posters saying he won't give two shummerts about coming to Wakey as his future for next year is sorted.
That's only half the deal, he needs to show Leeds in the games remaining, that he deserves to be somewhere near the 19.
In the case of Dan Smith, he's been really good for us this season but how many of the games that BS has been in charge has DS played? He's been injured and needs to get up to match fitness, whereas AM is fit and ready to go under the guidance of BS.

How is going from the bottom club, to one consistently in the top 4 showing lack of ambition? We may not be Wigan or Leeds- no doubt if he's good enough he will go there next. Like griffin....

I think AMs fitness will disappoint you. He's not played every game and when he has he's played low minutes. He's made less than half as many carries and tackles as smith in two less games. Whether this is down to him being incapable of doing more, or just that Anderson hasn't allowed him to remains to be seen. 80 minute prop he isn't!

| actually it was hudds who wanted smith early and the deal was done a while ago. mullally refused point blank to come to us originally quoting "why should i play in the bottom 4!" this doesnt fill me with any excitement at all about him. he plays in 10 min stints. hope he is up for it but i doubt it!

You have Kopzcak and Huby that do big minutes, AM is not going to get in front of Crabtree or Ta'ai, so better to have him come to us as an impact player, who will get game time.
You only get better by playing and it don't think he did a bad job at Bradford last season.

Taai has been playing second row or LF most of this season.. By the above logic mullally isn't as good a player as huby, eorl and kopczak.
Even during Easter period he didn't play longer minutes.

| Player leaves club - fans of said club describe him as not that good anyway; it was ever thus.

Not Wakey fans though, they become the best thing since sliced bread

| I think he's a great prospect, sometimes you forget he's only 22, always looks solid. Would have liked him to stay, but always thought he was likely to get snapped up by someone else. Can't say i'm inspired about getting a player in return who has one eye on moving elsewhere next year, but better than nothing I guess....

| Mutually is decent player, yes he has strong points and weaknesses, but it is unfair to say he can only play 20 minutes because that is how we have used him. He played longer minutes at Bradford, but with Eorl, Huby and Koppy all playing 45-50 minutes there ain't many minutes left.
I think the Wakey pack will seem much bigger with him in it. I have not seen too much of Wakey this year, but they have looked very light up front. I think he will do a good job in those middle 8s

| As long as he puts a shift in then it's a decent if unfortunately short term solution.

Mullers may have been used by the Bulls for more minutes. However given the shortage of props at a weak Bradford last year that says very little.
Ideally Crabtree should be doing fewer minutes but had too due to Mullers inadequacy. After 7/8 minutes Mullers is breathing through his a***. Within 12 minutes he is shot. He is rarely 1st man into a tackle, often a late 3rd. His defence makes the team vulnerable and his work rate is low.
That said Anderson would have kept him at the right price, McDermott signed him and Smith wouldn't have players fobbed on him. So there is something there.
With input from Keagan Smith, a fresh start and games against championship clubs he may cause a few surprises.
