I don't know you Cyclone so you may well be in the know, but if you knew all this......why weren't you a whistle blower telling those that could make a difference what was going on?

Trusting the new guys is a hard thing to do at Belle Vue, I've been a season ticket holder for as long as I can remember and we just seem to be going in circles. Thought when we got rid of Richardson things would change, however look where we are again; financial difficulties and asking the fans to get behind the club. There's only so much the fans can do and its about time the club management took a long hard look at themselves and took responsibility for their decisions. Our club is well supported and I was amazed at the support that turned out at Huddersfield and to be quite frank if we had won the league there wouldn't have been a spare seat in the stand.
But it is absolutely demoralising to keep returning to this situation of selling off players when we appear to have the makings of a decent. You cannot keep asking fans to pay to watch the dross that was served up on Sunday.

P.S Heard that Richardson is wanting to buy the club again

I don't know who he is and how he knows this but i could have written most of that myself mate.

Sadly i've had this stuff praying on my mind for months and its made me ill, and on the odd occasion i have said something i've been called all sorts for it on here for spreading rumours and being a doom monger.

Bazz got a rollicking for posting the truth, interpret is wording anyway you like but its still the truth.

Not everthing you read on this forum is true, never will be that way, thats the nature of the beast but we all need to read with our eyes open.

FFS didn't Glover say his intentions were long term, how long do think is a reasonable time to give someone who had to start from scratch knowing jack about how to run a a club.

I'm just glad to see the Carter has taken over the role and hope he does run the club in a more businessman way.

if anyone is showing that he or she isn't pulling their weight or is blatantly just there for the ride then I hope he will act appropriately.

I think James has value to the club in a Marketing role....look how we have moved on in terms of season tickets sold and also the variety of options available to fans. Look how packed Belle v has been this season. If he focuses on that side fully am confident we can grow the core support / brand and hopefully get more businesses on board ably assisted by the excellent Martin Hopkins who is one of the hardest working people at the club. Chief Exec for James was sadly not the role for him .

We are going to end up with more people in marketing than season ticket holders at this rate.
As far as I know and from what I have heard on here the marketing staff are very good at their jobs.
Bringing in somebody who wasn't good at his job looks like a square peg in a round hole exercise and a reward for doing badly.
There is an honourable thing to do of course (and its not sending bogus emails to people James. ).

The down side is, is BV really that packed or are we number crunching.

One supplier/sponsor as told me today to expect nothing from him while he is still at this club.

Michael carter seems to be a savvy bloke. Hopefully, when he realises elstons continued presence at the club in any capacity is affecting the clubs ability to generate much needed funds from fans and sponsors, he will ask elston to do the decent thing and resign or find a way to dispense with his services

Maybe any ST led share purchase could have a condition attached to it that elston goes

What is Elston's role? And what other re-structuring has been done? if it is just one job roll change then that isn't really going to have a massive impact is it? (keeping mates in jobs still)

The club need to say where we own money to and how the debt has been allowed to creep up..Because the rumours wont help the situation such as "hiring wildcat dolls" and the "profit from bars"

I used to work at a place where they brought in a new sales manager. He was very innovative when it came to selling our product. We were always busy and thought, 'This is great, we must be making loads of money'. Unfortunately, to get the business, he was giving it away with only a small profit margin. Made himself look good until the novelty wore off and he moved on. That company is now shut. What happens on the shop floor, doesn't always reveal what's happening behind the scenes.

Interestingly, dismissal due to third party pressure can be fair.
