| I have just read through this thread and I am absolutely disgusted. I always thought the relationship between our two clubs was pretty good, I have Wakefield fans in my family, my brother is WakeyReadie on this forum, but to read some of the vile and derogatory comments on here I personally shall think twice about visiting your ground, which let's face it is hardly Old Trafford is it, again.
I personally ran a collection among our fans for the Brennan Rooney fund, we also did the same for Adam Watene, I put a fiver in the bucket for Adam Watene's family on Saturday, and would add this was well supported by many of our fans, yet we come on here to read uttter garbage about our behaviour and our ground. Well, I'll tell you what, IF, you do have to play us, then just don't bother coming, after all it was constant moaning last time, which I can't believe considering the fact your ground is in some state of disrepair too. We have been in SL only three years, we are in the middle of a recession and we are doing as much as we can to ours, what's your excuse?
But that said, I wouldn't worry, you might not have to come yet, that's down to Catalans and Leeds.
Oh and just an afterthought, were you aware that cars of Hull KR fans had been vandalised close to the ground?

Wow there bud! I don't think anyone should jump to conclusions about the majority of anybody's support based on the few individuals who tarnish our great game.
Your efforts are duly noted and we are grateful.
However, as regards the last game at HKR, we - the away fans - were dealt with dreadfully - quite simply the worst handling of away supporters I have ever witnessed. The comments that followed afterwards on the radio rubbed salt into already open wounds and I would certainly like to think that the club will try much harder to organise and accomodate the away support - should it happen - for any visiting club.

I feel you are overreacting a little, the majority of the thread isn't that bad.
For what it is worth I was impressed by your fans on Saturday, a large turnout in a game that could easily have been watched at home or in the pub (something I fear too many of the folk of Wakey do). I didn't see any trouble; passion and extreme one-eyedness, but no behaviour overstepping the bounds. Your lot have a reputation and that is something you'll just have to shake off over time, but for me the last I saw of it was a bit of bin throwing way back in 1998.
As far as your ground goes, it isn't so much the state of it and it isn't for me about an our ground vs your ground thing. The problem with your place is the sheer unwelcoming nature of it; not in the intimidating atmosphere sense, just the fact the club seems determined to make it an unpleasant experience for away fans - wilfully delaying at the turnstile, charging higher for worse seats, stewarding out of the dark ages, etc. it doesn't help that it is something officials at KR have suggested they are proud of.

about the radio I was listening in to the hull kr v warrington game and heard on many occasion that the commenter absolutely hated ben westwood, made comments I wouldn't like to hear said of any player, it was the first time I have tuned in to any station and heard such trash,
as far as playing Leeds / Hull KR are we not the highest EPO if we go through 5th that would make it Saints or Hudds

Do you post anything of merit? Half of it is unintelligible, the other half makes no sense.

| It's the same with every club. There are always that 1% that let the rest down and i include Wakefield in that too. I think it's very naive to assume KR are the only club who have their fair share of numpties.
Can't say i've ever had any problems with KR fans and it's understandable some do not wish to return to Craven Park after how we were treated earlier but i'm pretty sure away fans have also encountered problems at Belle Vue.
I wouldn't read too much into it, the vast majority of KR fans are superb and i wouldn't hesitate to go back to CP if we are lucky enough to beat Catalan and you were unfortunate to lose.

I think the main problem is that opposition fans jump on a bandwagon without any just cause, we all know we have some idiots but I am also sure we have anecdotal evidence about trouble from all fans. I remember our last year in NL1 when we were slated by Widnes fans for vandalising cars, one even claimed to have had her wing mirror torn off, but p[osted it around 35 mins after full time (must have been in a harrier jet).
The vast majority (greater than 99%) of our fans travel without any bother, we have some great times bantering with the opposition of all fans in the local pubs at away games, mostly without any hassle. Most of the fans on Saturday were well behaved and as has been said signed your petition (myself included in the hope you get your ground) and have donated to all funds (Prekkies, Brennan Rooney's and Adam Watene's), it just gets a bit tiresome when all the $hit stirrers on RL Fans get on the 'lie' bandwagon.
Our chairmen was right in a recent interview with a fanzine when he was asked if he looked on forums, he said 'I sometimes go on the un-official site, but never on the RL fans site because of all the lies and $hit stirring(paraphrased) that goes on).
Oh, as for the overcharging for crap seats, it cost me £46 on Saturday for two adults and a child to stand behind a goal on a crumbling terrace that belongs in the 1920's, at least for an extra two quid you get a seat at ours.

I reckon we could easily shift over 2,000 tickets without a problem, how would the allocation work though?'"
