The decision has nothing to do with us sharing the ground, or even us playing at the ground, so not sure why people are raising the ground share part.
The government isn't deciding who plays there, just whether it can be built.

What more info could these people need.... They've already delayed it once.
Dec 2010 we were all told it was gonna be passed then was put into an inquiry... Just brings back bad feelings from then and because us wakey fans are all so sceptical.. I fear the worst!

We have been informed, via the local press, that a decision on the above has been delayed and the decision will no longer be announced tomorrow as scheduled.

Given such an ‘11th hour announcement’, I would appreciate it if you were able to inform myself, and of course all the other parties to the inquiry, the reasons for the delay and the proposed revised timescale?

I would hope that this information would be forthcoming by return, given the last minute nature of this announcement so close to your published deadline.

Don't think it's anything to get excited about. From my experience it's not uncommon for decisions by Goverment Departments to be delayed and it can be something as simple as a Civil Servant sick or on holiday.

Another reason for delaying news is if its good news its delayed because some bad news may be announced at the same time so its overshaddowed by the good news and the bad news is forgotten. Doubt it's that in this case and it's more than likely an administration issue.

Nothing to worry about. We've waited this long, another few days is not going to make much difference.

No excuse for delay. Whilst sympathy due to those affected by a bereavement it should not stop a Gov department in its tracks.

Could be that someone put to many hours in last week or week before and needs to reduce them this week by taking a day off.Could be the Gouvernment wants it to be a blaze of publicity on the jobs front and the stadium at the same time.You just never know with gouvernment departments and how they work
