The fact he’s has had so many partners is part of the problem.
To read sone of the comments on here you get the feeling Lino was solely responsible for all the defeats! Absolute rubbish!
Give him a proven stand off to work with and I think you’ll see a different Lino'"
Yet Gale who had a makeshift partner with Dagger pulled out some good attacking play and our attack was much improved. How do you explain that?
Also, Smith and Dagger pulled out an improved attacking display vs Leeds? How do you explain that?
Kay and Dagger pulled off a good attacking display vs Wigan… how do you explain that?
Yet Lino playing a number of times with Dagger, Smith couldn’t produce the same results. Your argument works against you.
On the above 3 wins we moved the ball considerably better across the line and created more opportunities with overlaps etc.
He’s not the sole cause of the string of losses but imo he’s a contributory factor in a combination of causes.
Miller always took the lead and he played off the back of that. Whoever he plays with he needs to let the other half lead or he’s going to continue to struggle. Hopefully Gale can offer that but it would be harsh on Dagger who’s played better. I’d go with Gale/Dagger on what I’ve seen.

I’m not at all knocking the makeshift half back partnerships we’ve had - they did well in those games you mention.
My main criticism is that you cannot blame one player for the way we’ve been playing, that’s just ridiculous and unfair.
He may as you say be a contributory factor but I’m convinced it’s because he was expected to be the kind of player he isn’t.
That’s my opinion you can think what you like of course.

I’m not only blaming one player though. He’s the focus of this discussion so I’m going to discuss him. That doesn’t mean he’s solely to blame at all.
He has been expected to be the player he isn’t and even now we continue to try make him the general in the middle (Huddersfield). He may have something to offer as the half who plays off another but we have yet to see him in that position.
I will keep giving him chances but I’m just unconvinced by him and if the 3 year deal was to use him as we have been as an organiser then I shake my head. Hopefully we change how he’s used and he becomes more productive.
You’re entitled to your opinion too ofcourse. We just have slightly different perspectives.

| I agree hard to put blame on lino at Huddersfield. We loose ball on first tackle and they score , dagger kicks out of play from restart and we spend first 20 mins defending own line at least 3drop outs. By time we saw the ball we looked tired and hudds were were a yard quicker off the line. Lineham then lost ball a d they score again. To be fair our try as made by a nice little ball by lino. Don't think it helped by batty not playing at 13.lino might not be the best but even if gale had played instead result and scoreline would have been the same . I think we can only judge at moment when we are in a nip and tuck game not the one sided one at Huddersfield

| He’s had a long time to impress. Hasn’t has he? Not many games I can think of where he has stamped his mark with the ball other than his kicking. Seems more of a headless chicken type very often.

| Don't think he took this much stick last season when we beating Warrington 3times and then at end of season. Seem to remember miller was the Scape goat for a fair bit of time and then left with hero status nearly.

That’s because Lino wasn’t the general last season and was very much playing off Miller. This season Lino has been the general and of course would cop the flack like Miller did if it’s not good enough.
Miller didn’t leave with hero status. He left with thanks. You’re making things up to try and suit your argument. I seem to recall that if anything there was a split with fans who thought we needed to move on and those who wanted to stick with him despite his faults. I was in the get rid camp but only if we signed a quality 7 to come in. We didn’t and the rest is history.

| Trojan, with miller leaving it was a 6 we needed not a 7 . To be fair up untill last few weeks whoever played half back was doing so behind a beaten pack so we're on hiding to nothing. Personally think it is time to look forward not dwell on the past. Positivity breads positivity

| That is the point really. Atoni is the proof.
Things have changed and players that weren't firing are now able to show their skills.
Let's hope Lino does the same.

You won’t find a more positive fan than me. I back them every week and turn up with the hope of a win. Though it did get rough a month ago.
I’m not looking back. I didn’t initially bring up Miller. As I said I want Lino to succeed but he needs a certain type of half partner who can direct play. Im hoping Gale could be just that.
It’s not all an out Lino though. As stated by PT other than the blip at Hudds there’s a lot of players standing up for the fight so hopefully that continues.
I can accept not everyone shared my opinion on Lino. Hrs here for 3 years so whatever I think I’ll be watching and cheering him on.

| So that's 2 of us that want lino to succeed ,we had better watch out this positivity will start catching. I was always told what goes around comes around, so I think things are starting to move in the right direction on and off the field.

They are but we need to win this fight to make it easier for the club to have a brighter future. The players play the biggest hand in that.
Some people can’t differentiate from supporting and having an opinion on a player that’s all. The two don’t necessarily go hand in hand. I will support all players who take to the field and praise them when they do something right (even Lino). My opinion on a player won’t affect that support.
I really really hope the players carry on the form they’ve shown (bar Hudds).

| The other games are obviously important but it doesn't matter which ones we win as long as we win some. The home games seem the most likely
But the Cas game is a must win.
Without that we sink too deep to recover.
Hope Griffin is running drills with the players as if he's playing so he's absolutely ready to go for that one.

| Just to let you all know that there is under 900 tickets left for this fixture. North Stand upper and lower are all sold out, seating is very close to been sold out as well. Only Western Terrace remaining.
If you haven't got your tickets yet then I would advise doing so soon in case they sell out completely.

| This absolutely should be a sellout.
With Trinity being the majority.
