Sadiq isn't exactly a hard name to say.
I've no problem with people who want to give nicknames but not just for the international names.

If he's OK with it, like Tini instead of Tinirau then great, which in this case it seems it is.

Sorry but no I don’t agree, it’s ok in almost any case IMO.

You don’t choose nicknames you are given them. And unless they are deeply offensive in someway or indeed illegal ie racial abusive there is nothing you can do about it and rightly so, that to me is extreme snowflakery (I just made that word up).

Unless there is some incredible deep meaning to the Sid moniker then in no way is it an issue, even though everything seems to be an issue these days.

I’ve had two nicknames in my life, Sevi and Vast, both started as mild micky takes over something or other and neither ruined my life.

Especially relevant was Sevi, I’m not Spanish but it worked.

You are wrong, both WP and AL had more involvement in the day to day coaching of the team than CC, unfortunately a decision was made early on in the season under CC's tenure (but Ollie didn't find out until 2nd September) that the team would be massively reduced in numbers due to reduced funding and he and a good few players were being taken off the books (I believe there are still another 2 or 3 to be announced as leaving) thankfully Lee greenwood had seen and heard enough good about Ollie to approach him and although he had offers from 3 other championship clubs, dewsbury offered the best opportunity for him to develop. BTW I don't blame WP or AL, I know exactly where to lay the blame and the reasons behind the decisions
