Another player out due to Covid. That’s 9 unavailable and 2 staff members plus injured players.

Think that puts us up to 12 players out or more.

Bailey and aydin to make debuts.

Looking at the squads we are underdogs for this one.

Good positive attitude to have. Hopefully a decent game with a chance for some younger players to show what they can do.

The RLFans Jowitt Fan Club will be pleased to hear I think he should play scrum half this week. We will have no guidance/experience in the halves but J Wood will not be as effective over the full 80.

Crowther to feature from the opening minute, great in defence and can hopefully get us off to a good start in the first 20 when having to defend. Kelepi to then come on from the bench and inject some pace when running the ball in and not knocking on!

Bailey & Rocky in the halves, Gigot was going to play there but stood down due to covid. BJB on the wing, sounds like Kay left out. Aydin & Gwaze play.

Really interested to see how Bailey goes.
If he can add something to 6th tackle plays he's already a step up.

I’m looking forward to seeing what the young players can do. In particularly Bailey. Is he a natural scrum half? Been a long time since we’ve brought a half through the academy into first team!

It won’t be an easy game but let’s get behind the team.

A lot is been said of Hulls injury crisis but trinity have had to put up with it for the past month. They’re late to that party. I can’t quite believe the injury issues that the club and Chester have sustained since mid 2019. It’s truly astounding and we have regularly had 1/3 or more of the playing squad in the stands including our best strike players.

This is the only reason I’m willing to give Chester time. But make no mistake things need to pick up towards season close or we need to be looking at recruitment and/or back room staff.

I’ve been a Chester backer for all his tenure but I’m reaching my limit with the last 2 nillings. I truly hope he turns the team around and will back him to do so for now.

Yes it's very unfortunate. Having witnessed Kershaw's moment with his family and the crowd chanting around him after his debut was great!
There's a few proud parents on here and rightly so. Takes some doing becoming a pro!

Think it’s a huge step up in every level for Connor and one I’m sure he’ll try his best , but don’t expect miracles. He’s been thrown in at the deep end when the team as a whole are on a downer so to expecting him to come in as our new saviour is asking a lot of him . And don’t forget he’s up against some pretty tough seasoned half’s in Connor and kelly . A good solid game is about all we can ask of him I think at this time in his career
