I didn't notice this thread, if I would have done I would have had a bid too (although not to your level). My Dad was all set to go to that game but I ended up being born on that day so he gave his ticket to his brother to pass on to someone else at the match. I got the program on my 18th.

Wear it ! Why put it in a frame anyway ? It's not going to lose much value in a few years because it's slightly faded . Wear it and make us all jealous !!

I can understand wanting to wear this one, but can never understood why people go to the trouble of getting a shirt signed then wear it to games so the signatures end up fading. Something like that is definately for framing as a collectable, or why bother getting it signed.

Wear it when we get to Wembley
You could then say that this is my playing shirt that I wore at Wembley.
However, if you are sat near me, wash it first!

just watched the game and the only subs used was by Widnes, I wonder why they didn't at least give them 10 mins

I would have wagered (from memory of being there...) that Trevor Midgley replaced Sheard late on and the Twins swapped over... will have to watch the game again on dvd ... well it gives me an excuse!!

It would certainly explain why it was so clean! He was wearing a tracksuit before the game, and so maybe there is still hope.

It is still one of our great strips, and let's face it, we haven't had that many.
