Arrogant as always - people work 7 a week these days and long shifts and find it frustrating they can't make many game due to Sky
chopping and changing constantly, for you to refer to it as 'people crying their eye's out' out is arrogant and rude, you really don't help
yourself do you?

| Got to say I'm delighted that fafita will be with us another year
He's a real marque signing
Seems to have gone a little quiet on the signing front at the mo
Chester mentioned a back row was on his list and I assume that the allgood deal is now a none starter as to the best of my knowledge we have used all our OS quota

So we have signed, Fifita, Hirst, Grix, Catton Brown and Williams, that's five in my book as I think you can safely say Fifita was a trialist of sorts.
Moore is an issue that needs resolution.
I honestly only see one more "new" signing if any at all.
Furthermoore I'm happy enough with that so long as Moore is adequately replaced.
We now have three genuinly big players in England, Hirst and Fifita and adequate support in Arona ans Simon and hopefully A N Other.
A great set of S/R's in Ashurst who IMHO is one uf the most under rated players in SL, Kirmond and Tupou if fit, Anakin may finally put in a full season and young Crowther may get a few games and of course Molloy and Walker as back up. Also Arona and Simon have good utility value. Then there is Sio who like Ashurst is underated and is one of the best defensive 13's in the game.
So if we can avoid to many injuries and if A N Other turns out to be a forward then that's one of the toughest most competitive packs we've put out in years - it's certainly shouldn't be soft.
A lot now depends on A.Tupou, if he can get reasonably fit he's an assett if he can't he's blocking what could be a really useful signing - I really hope that decency and honesty prevail.

I would agree - a quiet achiever, in the same mould as Simon Grix at Wire; gets on with his job in an unspectacular but very effective way, and hardly does anything wrong.

Credit to Stone who's looked at where Shudds ended up last year and since the season end has cleared his playing roster of sub standard players.

Does that that indicate a shortage of quality hookers or as Trinity fans, are we not rating Wood highly enough ?
Without being too unkind, I really dont see Wood as solving any of Leeds' problems.

| it is a concern this position, but I honestly don't think Wood is the answer.
I don't know if Anthony Tupou is coming back for a second season, but given the concerns over his fitness, I would be surprised if he didn't.
If he doesn't return, then there will be a quota spot available and some cap space. It may be worth broadening our horizons when looking for a replacement, and if we are still looking to bring in an extra prop, why not go for an English prop and try to bring in Cox or Mullally.
Failing that continue looking for an NRL prop, but at the same time, try to lure Brad Dwyer. I do remember reading somewhere where he wasn't very happy
Who knows this could be the position which JK can unearth a gem from the championship.
I have no doubts on Moules abilities, but don't think he is ready to play week in week out just yet

I would say if we were to sign Wood, he's not the 50-60 mins man we want, he's impact.
As for gems, there's O'Brien at Bulls, Ackers and Cunningham at London and they're just 3 that have looked decent when I've watched games.
We are dual reg with Dewsbury and they have Robbie Ward on their books.

| I reckon it's a sign of the times if Leeds are after Kyle Wood.
