| Whoever plays in the centres will be up against Hurrell and one of their second row forwards.

| However plays for us , if we can put half the passion and effort into our games as those horrible lot the Rhinos, we certainly won’t disgrace ourselves. As much as it hurts me to say this , I’ve not seen our team play with that intensity for years , if ever

It’s usually about Friday when you begin to think that maybe just maybe they will emulate the team from our first season that beat Saints at Oakwell or the victory when our winger scored despite his shorts hanging round his knees. It is then that you remember they may not have been the best individually but they were a team unfortunately our current squad, in the majority no longer live up to this standard. It could be complacency, bad coaching but whatever the cause they are failing the supporters.
I hope they watched the Leeds game so they may learn what it means to have pride in the shirt they wear and a desire to fight for the supporters who will carry on supporting long after they have left. They may be transient Trinity representatives who have a choice where they play unfortunately the supporters do not.
I will probably make this my last season regardless of the outcome but it will not stop me being a Trinity supporter despite what Vastman might think and that why I am angry we are in this position again.

Even then we nearly threw it away by conceding a last minute penalty.

Shame we are missing so many players.
Really hoping we can pull a special win out of the bag.

Lynton Stott with the drop goal was it?! The winger was Wainwright in 2004, the season when when we nearly got to Old Trafford, well kind of if we hadn't been robbed by the pie eaters who knows what might have been!! When was the last time we actually pulled off a genuine shock win against one of the big boys??? I also seem to recall beating Saints under Harbin with a team of kids basically? I may have been dreaming......

Bowes isn't in the squad.
Personally i'd be leaving out the 'couple of guys we are checking', why risk them in a game we highly likely won't win? It's a short turnaround to the Cas game (and they have a 7 day break) so i'd get them right for that rather than make things worse. I'd guess one might be Lino as he wasn't fully fit last week, so play Walker instead. Batch can kick the goals. I might be tempted to rest Hall for a week as well, he's looked a little jaded in the last couple of games. Lets see if we can get a tune out of Gaskell in the centres for a week, we've tried him everywhere else. He might just raise his game against his hometown team. Freshen things up a little, maybe give Battye a run, let Kershaw make his comeback etc. Try something a bit different in what is essentially a free hit of a game.
