Actually it looks like we have 17 available players including Ashurst who hasn't actually trained with anyone yet.
I can see us playing with a player on the bench who doesn't run on.

Would be ridiculous to expect anything other than a valiant effort.

That's probably why Navarette's been included in the squad having been dropped earlier in the week.

Never said that and you wont see one post of mine slating chester anyway but the fact is hull and catalan had the virus in camp and once gone its stayed gone where as a club are getting players stood down weekley

Having watched his interview with James Deighton and the other journos it looks to me like Fifita won’t play...not sure why they can’t just come out and say who has tested positive?

The player(s) probably dont want everyone to know if they have tested positive. After all it's a private medical matter.
It seems that with the positive test and other players isolating, Chester is extremely limited to who can play and after initially feeling good that so many players were able to come back, it seems like there weren't too many other options.

Lets hope that we can get through the game without picking up further injuries and "positive" tests.

All sorts of issues come into play with Covid. Primarily who has it, where they have been and who they have been in contact with.
No two clubs (or people) are the same and in the current climate we just have to deal with what happens.
The easy thing would be for the club to postpone fixtures and it's credit to the club that they are putting the completion of fixtures as a priority.
The situation must be a hell of a drain on everyone involved, especially Chester who is losing options without any forward notice - the whole thing is a bloody nightmare.
