| We were shocking. One bulls player could run along our line holding off 3-4 Wakey players before breaking through. Happened numerous times.
Going to be a long season.

| Well the best thing to do is make some money out of them.
Currently Cas are -6 for the MM game (was -4 this morning).
Sorry but that is a no-brainer of a bet. I would suggest Cas by 18 plus would be nearer the mark.

Normaly I would agree with that but looking at our squad and pack we will do well to win 6 games next season not that it will matter either way we start life in the National Leagues at best in 2012

So that's what the difference in score was.. not us actually playing well? We're a different team to 2009 and 2010.

Is this the Johnson you signed from us? The young Paul Johnson? (I know there are two and didn't you get rid of the old one?) Anyway, if it is our Paul Johnson (I know he went east) then until he came to you he had only played in three first grade matches, one of them against Wigan when Cunningham went off injured. He works hard and can tackle well. But it will take time for him to adjust to the demands of first grade rugby. He looked promising at Saints.

Indeed he is
Sadly though we need someone who is established at this level... Starting props need to set a platform and do the tough stuff.... and do it well at that.
Maybe i was being harsh on him with the rice pudding comment but he isn't the answer and it is no fault on him.. signing him as back up is one thing, if he is int he 17 he needs to perform to a higher standard.
Appreciate he is only a kid
AaronBull - you will just make the top 8. are you really that much better than last couple of years???
You have lost your two best players in Orford and Menzies, signed Chav Walker. elima will do well..... thats it for me

I agree, it's a little disrespectful towards the Bulls. You've a much bigger pack and Diskin will prove to be a very good signing. Although you played some good rugby, two tries you scored from scrums were unacceptable. You're certainly an improvement from the McNamara reign but that's expected especially with Potter in charge

| Quote: mwildcats "Apparently the effort was there what more can we ask for. Just take a step back look at the squad look at their names and what they've done'" first half was a massive effort to keep the score down to 12 and blow some of our own chances that we got, the second half they up their game from the start and took control,
we was lucky to pick up two tries from bulls mistakes with interceptions /pick ups taking the score to a respectable defeat but kid you not this will a long haul
Johnson looks like we wants recognition and was our best player going
Penny please keep the ball in hand and try not to make things happen when there are no one around

Johnson was again our stand out player for me - looks like he'll prove a good signing.
We made Bradford look like world-beaters and my feet are freezing - not the best Sunday afternooon ever!'" ours too what a hole it is, needless to say the mrs regrets going but all forgotten now we are at home
shocking support from both fans we should of been herded together to keep warm

| Bit of a lack of creative from your go to men today but they were playing behind a beaten pack for most of the game. The speed of the ruck seemed to cause your guys are fair few problems with both Diskin and L'Estrange making good yardage.
I thought Morrison put himself about early doors but faded as the match wore on. Not a lot of positive to take from this match other than it was only a pre season friendly. I expect Kear will bring some improvement on today's showing for 2 weeks time in Cardiff. Good luck with your off the field problems.

| I think some of you can't bring yourselves to acknowledge that this was a far better Bulls side and a far better Bulls performance than you have been used to of late. So instead you run your own side down far more than I reckon is justified.
Early on you were pretty good, especially in defence - and especially when you held us out for was it six sets on the trot? But the strength of the respective benches really showed I thought. This showed increasingly in the second half, as you did what we did all the time last season and became increasingly desperate and made mistakes as a result. We, by contrast, took to multiple offloads that (for a Bulls fan starved of exciting play for too long now) were a joy to watch.
I though Morro was everywhere, and there was far from any shortage of effort - look at how Blaymire (was it?) somehow got the ball back into the field of play and copped a knock for his trouble. That lad Johnson looked good. OK, King dropped the ball a few times. But what I saw was a bit like Bulls last year - a side short of troops putting in plenty of effort but in need of reinforcements.
