OK I stand corrected.
I was lead to believe that the first Newcold building was around 22,500m² and the second one was slightly bigger |

The planning application says 38,764 m2 so they are pretty close. |

I would have to agree with you. I seem to remember reading when the 1st stage was opened that it was 50% complete so I assumed the 2nd stage would be the same size. Didn't seem to have any significance at the time as it looked as if neither would count to the trigger point. |

Daddycool, i have no evidence myself, only the word of the person who gave me the information. I have no reason to doubt what he has told me. I will try and find out from him anything further that may be of help. |

Does anyone know what a building of 5,000sqm looks like? If you divide the Newcold by five it wouldn't be a particularly big build.
Some people have suggested Yorkcourt would hold back a little to avoid the 60,000 trigger, wouldn't that be a very dangerous game to play? Assuming Yorkcourt stopped at 59,000 Sqm, then there was evidence to suggest that a business had been refused the chance to build on Newmarket, how would they stand legally? |

There was supposed to be a indoor sports pitch as part of the facilities on offer at NM. Not sure if this is still the case. |
