| Quote: Mr Bliss "What do you expect when we 'make' all the wigan fans down the side (yes that old chestnut) where the can help a clueless ref make all the decisions.
The bit that riled me was when Amor knocked on and if the away fans hadn't have pointed it out we might have got away with it. They also helped Sir Sam Tomkins every time he needed another penalty.'"
Halibut also gave a penalty to Wakey after the your fans screamed for offside even though it didn't look offside. He is easily influenced!

| He also should have penalised Wigan when one of their players knocked on and another player in front picked it up and just called it back for a knock on instead of giving us the full advantage and penalising the offside. Also in the second half we chipped through and our man regathered but offloaded to one of the Wigan players but the supporting man for the chip was grabbed by a Wigan player which should have also resulted in the player being penalised. I also saw twice that the Wigan man playing the ball stepped to the side a meter and play te ball off the mark. Also Alibert doesn't speak to players enough like other refs. If players offside or not square most refs will let them know and to stay out of way for that play or give em a chance to retreat the correct yardage. He would just rather use his whistle instead.

My point is that Wigan (away fans) had a better bleeding view than we did.
How would Wakey fans know we were stuck behind the sticks???????

Yeah, what was this 'segregation' about ? Bit of a pointless exercise to me, once inside the ground on the West terrace around the 30m line from the hospitality suite end, there were just as many Wakefield fans as Wigan fans (and rightly so, this is rugby league, we love the crack with the oppositions fans) What did surprise me was the number of people smoking on the terraces, and people stood in the walkways, with the stewards saying nowt.

| We were well in the game up to hour mark , but the game changer seemed to be Smiths 40/20 After that they only looked to be one winner, but we didnt give up until the whistle & that was a big plus considering our last couple of performances.

We had a one off issue with Cas fans so everybody has to suffer.

Game changer for me was Woody's kick straight into touch when we were on the attack, although as others have alluded to the lack of substitutes toward the end was probably the real killer.

| Game changer for me was forward pass from Cockayne to Fox coming off our own line. We couldhave been down the other end but put pressure on ourselves ffor a repeat set which got them back in the game.

| Top effort from the boys yesterday and they certainly played with pride and passion.
Although we all want to watch a winning team, when there is that level of commitment and effort on display against the top team in the comp, you come away with a positive feeling, despite the loss.
A very enjoyable game (apart from the result) but, we have to back up the performance and make sure that we beat Salford and London.
Well done boys

| Certainly didn't expect that - aside from the result, which flatters Wigan, it was an excellent performance; our lads showed some true grit and really got under the big boys skin, as evidenced by Tomkins constant ranting at the ref and Wane's churlish comments after the fact.
I like a lot of what Wigan do, but the attitude on the pitch in terms of appealing for penalties is unpleasant to watch; it's too much like football, and that's never a good thing.

I know what you mean, they tend not to have any class when losing, or indeed when winning as yesterday proved. Shame that, because they have the makings of a Champion side that could dominate for many years to come - and they really are the blueprint in terms of youth development that
Top performance from our boys, and hard to believe these are, in the main, the same group of players from the last 120mins of rugby they played and Agar has to take credit for getting them to play with the attitude they did yesterday.
Well played boys, hopefully we can carry this into the next 2 "winnable" games if there is such a thing for us and get a little momentum back into our season and keep those slim hopes of 8th alive for a bit longer.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Charnley. He was absolutely terrible for waving his arms in the air and begging for a penalty. I believe it was a penalty for holding down on him after he'd screamed at the ref for a good few seconds that piggy-backed them down field to put them over for mossop's try.

Agreed.
Our restarts were very predictable floaters and didn't put Wigan under any pressure. The one that restarted the 2nd half was suicidal, giving Tomkins possesion from his 40 yd line. We also put the standard one straight dead and didn't even go for a short option when we kicked off 7 points behind with only 3 minutes to go!
