Play him in twentys, or loan him out get him some team experience he's not big enough for a second rower in super league anyway but it's a valid point

Mellars & Trout should be dropped out of the 19. The centres should be Sykes & Collis.

Mariano is a super league second row which he proved last season who has size, power and speed. He needs a chance as does Matt James, both should be on the bench.

Jeez this is getting difficult - he's unknown to us in a Trinity shirt playing in this team - how many times have we seen him with our own eyes - yes clearly in terms of reputation there is a world of difference. However a both you and I have found to our cost reputation can count for very little when the pull on a Trinity shirt.

It's not about the particular players it's about NGBC ability to give Smith half a season to prove himself and then writing Trout off after about 80 minutes.

Ash i really struggle to belive that you actually watch the game ( I Apologize before going all phil clarke like but its got to be done) you have only to look at the stats hes made 3 apperances and hasnt missed one tackle, so i dont see were your coming from there. Another thing you mentioned is that he makes wrong decsions in attack? He runs the ball in because hes`s a prop not a half back ! its very hard to get wrong. If we need a centre, then give Cowling a run. I would prefer him there than Walshaw, IMO I still think Walshaw is very raw in many aspects of his game. Cowling has been playing strong, with good defence, hitting the gaps when the ball comes his way and offloads to his winger well.

Cowling looks like a very good prospect along with walshaw. If we can keep a few of these young players and bring them

My rule of thumb is that you need to produce about two - three players a season. Any more tends to cause a glut with too many players at the same level.

Any less is not good enough to build from.

This year if Trout, Walshaw and Maybe Wildie get a few runs that for me is a good year. Next year Cowling etc.
