Out of interest, what 'firsthand experience?'
I ask, because I heard a very different version of events.

Give me Stosic along with Amour and Wilkes anyday but we need to add the impact prop into the mix with our current squad if not we wont dominate any games this year our half backls will be average if our forwards don't go forward !'"
I know you struggle to understand the posts of others, but you now seem unable to comprehend what you have written yourself.
Amazing, yet not!!!

We clearly have someone intimating they were once at Trinity in some capacity. The use of the word "mate" tends to suggest they are or wish to give the impression they are Australian.
Are they? Who knows or cares though the use of the expression "waste of skin" about a fellow pro indicates a fraud to me.
What I do know is that's not what I heard either. Tronc did well to start with and was popular enough within the club. His wife however simply couldn't or wouldn't settle, end of.

Perhaps that's why they're looking? That, and the fact that they seem compelled to have a squad that is bigger than the population of some small countries.

I have seen nothing from Johnson that would suggest he is anything but a prop to be honest?? Hits the line hard and gets through the graft, but i have not seen much of an offload or any footwork and speed that would benefit the team if he was running that bit wider.
I dont know many props that dont think they would be better used in the second row!

he's the same as Wilkes for me. He would be a hard working hard tackling second rower but wouldn't add anything to the attack.
I like them both at prop.

I can probably agree with that, the old style number 10 was usually (not always!) smaller stature than the open side prop at No 8, and often they had ball handling skills of the likes of Don Fox, Billy Harris and probably Brian Lockwood (I think he played at No10 for us).
How I wish we'd got such a ball handling prop now!

| I'd be very happy if we unearthed the reincarnation of Trevor Skerrett, I know he's not dead by the way.

Best prop I've ever seen in a Trinity shirt, and did the full 80. Broke tackles for fun, did Trevor.
