Jesus Christ, awful news. A cracking player even if he did annoy the hell out of me when playing against us. Thoughts with his family.

That's pretty sobering.

His parents must be devastated. Spoke with them a couple of times at BV. They're a really proud, but unassuming couple.

Not sure what you can say here.
Burrow was a cracking RL player and despite being small in stature, he had the heart of a lion never gave less than 100%.
One can only hope that the illness takes hold slowly and he's got some good years in front of him and it's brave of him to go public.

Very sad news for one so young. Poor lad.

Every time we played Leeds Rob ripped us apart yet somehow you couldn't help but like him. He played it well and clean and for a truly small man he had real heart. On of that rarest of players, a true legend of the game. Really awful illness, very sad to hear this.

My heart goes out to the lad ,was small in stature but a true giant on the field and fearless .Hope the RL family comes together to help in anyway they can at this sad time

Very sad news to hear, Rob Burrow was a top class & inspirational RL player.
It was only 2 days ago, on the 17/12/2019, i was reading on the Daily Mail Health page that scientists have identified cells thought to cause the cruel condition MND and are hoping for a breakthrough with treatment.
My thoughts and prayers are with Rob and his family.

Favourite moment was when he ducked under the defence in the 2011 Grand Final to score.

Quality player.

Such awful news, he was one of those players you couldn't help but like even when he was running rings round you. The fact that he has 3 kids under the age of 8 makes it all the more tragic.

Maybe the club could make a small percentage donation from our share of the ticket sales for the boxing day match to the fund that has been set up for him to help out his family. I for one would certainly be happy for a proportion of my ticket to go that way. I'll make a donation direct as well.
