| 3,300 cap. From memory both ends are open and not suitable for fans in numbers. Could easily be brought up to standard. Im sure the Dewsbury club have plans to develop the area and from the Ossett side some housing developments are on going. I think its a first rate location with loads of potential .

| I think we are more likely to put a sign up saying the start of a new era.

Except it's not in Wakefield (just)
No top class sporting representation in Wakefield next year!

IF we move out of the City, it's very difficult to see us ever getting back.
Yes, we will have a team to watch, wearing red, white & blue but how do we ever get back to being Wakefield Trinity, playing in Wakefield ?
Short term is ok but, long term will see Trinity wither and die.
There are of course loads of issues surrounding a ground share as far as how revenue is split & cost of running the 2 clubs involved and we would need a strong presence in the city centre in order to keep reminding people that Wakefield still has a club.

| Oldham move to Boundary Park
Swinton to Gigg Lane
Even Fulham, Huyton and York are all cautionary tales for Wakefield.
That it has come to this is a tragedy and many people are to blame but the intransigence of the Council when compared to many other Councils across the country is shameful.
No top class sporting representation in the City of Wakefield from next year!

Genuine question, where is the money coming from for it to be 'easily brought up to standard?' I doubt either club has pots of spare cash lying around! It would have to be a slow, gradual joint effort, which would surley only be in our thinking if the plan to stay there was long term. But if that was the plan then there wouldn't be much of a club left in a few years anyway imho.

| From a travelling supporters point of view Dewsbury is the best option. While its not in Wakefield its not far off.

It's not within the City of Wakefield
That's the definitive statement, it doesn't matter if it's 100 metres outside, its outside!
Normally, I'm all for being positive but I'm not going to be about this because I'm not prepared to dress this up as anything other than what it is.
A scandal and a tragedy
Shameful that we've come to this!

| I wonder how Dewsbury fans will take the news and if the dreaded "M" word will be discussed? Location wise it does seem the best alternative option and it would be nice if they could increase the capacity. I certainly wouldn't have a problem visiting it next year. Can't remember the last time I went, does any one know what the parking availability is there.

It's all very sad.

I think the 2 mile walk there would put some off that. They'd probably just stay in the pub!

| WF12 post code and the best option by a mile. I agree about the way things have gone but I would much rather be at Dews than Batley, Feath, Cas or Barnsley. With regards to the ground it could be that Kirklees council will welcome the move and offer assistance. Its a tidy set up at Dewsbury and in a good area
Its a crying shame that its come to the stage that because of total poor management over the years we are in the situation we are but we are and I would rather see it as a new start.
It could just prove to be the making of our club rather than the final nail in the coffin. The truth is we don't know .

| Short term I wouldn't mind. I just feel that would be the beginning of the end, unless I heard some positive news regarding a long term home in the city, which is not on the horizon is it?
