So Vasty you would rest our best outside back and our most creative player. Which ever way you look at it that squad is going to have to play like they did for the second half last Wednesday for a full 80 mins to have any chance at all. Did Lyne get injured. I would go with :

I would imagine he isn't match fit for two games in 5 days.

Also he pulled his back - not serious but needs resting.

We don't need to win this game as I don't think we can overhaul Salford - not sure what difference it would make if we did?

If "pulled his back" is the same as being kneed in the back in a very late challenge which the "ref" chose to ignore then you are right on this one.

The difference is we would play Championship 1 & 3 and SL 12 at home and SL 9,10 & C2 & C4 away instead of SL9 and C2 & C4 at home with SL 10 & SL11 and C! & C3 away.

I think there are a couple who are carrying "other" knocks than has been stated.
Kirmond, T Smith & Anderson i am told have been playing while carrying knocks & niggles for most of the season. Why bother playing them now and risking it? We need to make sure they are ready for the business end of the season.

It will be like getting new players in in some cases
