This is the game we must show some improvement. I know it boils down to the players but what is the reason we are where we are. We all agree the squad was the best so why have they gone backwards in such a short space of time. We have players leaving, a run of 14 SL games without a win the worst attack and defence and for the first time we will finish last.
This can only be described as a disaster but why what's gone wrong this is not the Wakefield of even last season. The crowds are down, interest is at an all time low, we are reminded that without a new ground our very existence is in doubt. The idea of relocating I will tell you would not work and is probably one of the silliest I have heard.

You'd have to say that given Salford's recent performances that this is probably our most winnable game of the fixtures we have remaining. I hope Brian Smith sees that and can instill that attitude into the players.
It's not just about an improved performance this weekend but about a win. Lose game 15 on the bounce against the team we have the best chance of beating and we will not get the fans back on board, win the game and the crowds might see that the new coach can do something with these players and they might just become interested enough to start dragging themselves back to games.

We've lost 8 on the bounce, Wakefield have lost 7? So obviously the two current worst teams in Super League. Its hardly going to have them queing at the gates is it?

We should have as close to a full strength team as possible available for Sunday, with only Michael Dobson, Tommy Lee, Lama Tasi and Kevin Locke missing through injury.

Lets hope it isn't a draw!

I could see a 40-20 scoreline either way but also a 6-6 draw.

Can't say Chase plays particularly well against us but I'm sure he'll make an exception now that we need the win so badly

Came over in a blaze of publicity and looked ok for the first few weeks but looks like an over priced import, something that SL will be seeing plenty more of
with the Marquee player rule.

The only reason I'd back us to beat you is because Salford are the team most likely to be dragged down to our level - I think you as a Salford fan will know where I'm coming from.

Most likely chance to get a win, aside for the Cas home game where form could go out of the window.

Will they be searching us on the gate for wooden spoons?

Half of Castleford will turn out to watch us get another stuffing.
