Welcome SKY sports to Belle Vue the Fortress of noise.Been a long time since I felt this proud of the club and thought the good times are round the corner.Remember seeing the likes of Poynton,Fox and co as a young lad.Then when it looked like we had the making of a good side 78 through to 80 just to see it go down hill again.
Glover has built a good feeling about the club but the jobs only just started and yes I can see the squad have some quality but feet firmly on the ground we need to show up and lift the players tonight like no other time.

its brilliant to be going down to Belle Vue NOT preying we don't get relegated, or NOT fighting to avoid the wooden spoon. The buzz around Wakefield at the moment is electric. I will be there, though I doubt my voice will be around by the end

Well done to those that got to BV last night, despite the nervous scrappy nature of the game, the atmos was great and I'm sure the players will have appreciated it.

8000+ was excellent and there was plenty of noise coming out of the North Stand. Haven't seen the video of the game but BV was rocking and hopefully we got some more positive feedback.
Salfolrd next, lets try and match (or beat) the 10 busses that we took to Widnes at the start of the season.

Well, what a night! The game was scrappy as hell, particularly first half - but a win is a win - and doesn't it look good to be sitting at eighth?

JD was stood just in front of us at the match last night - I for one wish he was still with us, on the coaching team somewhere, and maybe even in charge one day. Adding his attitude, knowledge and experience into the mix would take the club up another notch, I reckon.

So now bring on Salford (at a ground to TBA - what a RL farce ) and lets see how many we can take along for the ride!

And when we've gone as far as we can this year, it makes next years season, with my already bought Season Ticket, something to look forward to even more. Onward and Upward .
