I still don't think you can play him in same side as Lampard.

Wrong.
Kyle is our player for the season - Leeds can offer him a contract extension before July but that would not be with them until next season.

Our worries came to light the other day we are very small up the middle granted Catalan are big but so are Wigan/Leeds/Wire it doesn't Bode well they smashed us through the middle saturday. We have about 5 hookers and 5/6 half backs once again the balance of the team is in question. Plenty of players have left surely we are not upto the cap yet! This will be the last piece of the jigsaw for now.'"
Well I think you have a point and one which has been highlighted on here many times. We have perhaps ONE established superleague prop in Kyle Amor and even he is still learning his trade. Ollie Wilkes is a great forward but not an out and out prop, nor are Raleigh or Johnson.
We are lightweight and the likes of Kylie Leululai must be rubbing their hands in anticipation of facing us in battle. I sincerely hope I'm wrong but I don't think the reduction in interchange will make any difference to the rotation of props!

Stop talking rubbish, Johnson is a first class SL prop in the making and Wilkes is already a good SL prop. I can never understand why fans like you take a reasonable point (we are one of the lighter front rows and cou;d do with another prop) and then stretch and twist it to the ridiculous length that we have only one prop. You just destroy any credibility you're point had.
Friendlies mean nothing IMHO other than giving people excuses to moan.

Yeah let's just make it up as we go along shall we. Johnson is an out and out prop and anyone can see that. I can't for the life of me see how you get Amor as an established SL prop. He'd barely played a game until we rescued him. He's no further down the track than Johnson. They are both good IMHO and come the real season will give Leululai plenty to think about. Give your head a shake and wait and see and give them a chance.

| We don't need an impact prop anymore in my opinion, we need a tackle buster and momentum builder. Not the same thing.
Physical size does matter but not at the expense of the rest of the game.
I'd like to see Kylie play for us, or even a young Korki, but if they are not there I don't want a big fat prop just for the sake of it.
Peacock isn't exactly big in weight and size nor was Fielden. It isn't just a matter of getting a giant, it's a momentum builder we need. They come in all shapes and sizes.

Oh ok then I will give my head a shake but you give yours a shake if we hit injuries to Amor and Johnson because I think you will find that what we can then put at prop will get ripped to pieces by a lot of SL teams!

Basically a Tronc, only without the personal issues.

Would that not apply to any team.
We have 3 props in Amor, Wilkes and Johnson and two more in Raliegh and James as back up and a couple of youngsters. It's as good as most. Even Saints or Leeds would struggle if they lost there first choice props. You are just creating an issue that isn't there. Yes another big prop would be very nice, and that would apply to at least ten other clubs.
Wilkes is 6'2" and 17 stone by the way and thus is bigger than Amor (6'2" 16 1/2 stone) or Johnson and has way more experience. Andy Raleigh is exactly the same size as Amor whilst James is the same height and just 2lbs lighter.
Kyle Leululai is 5'10" and 17 stone 2 lbs and thus a smaller specimen than Wilkes.
These are the stats like it or not. Of course there is more than just size that makes a prop. The main one is ticker and certainly Wilkes, Amor, Johnson and Raleigh have proved not to be short of that.
As I say fans make it up as they go along to suit their particular issue, real or imagined.
