Why?
He isn't our youth, and had we not been in meltdown, we would have been unlikely ever to have signed him at all.
This IMO says everything about us and very little about Salford.

| Hardly a big surprise, given that his old man is once again holding the fort.
Got to feel sorry for Salford fans at the moment; on the eve of playing in their new stadium, it's all going pear-shaped for them. LE reports this week that they've only sold 900 ST's, which puts our own 4k into some perspective.

loss of the coach - which a lot of fans think is due to him telling the board what a mess the club is , very dull signings , poor 2011 season after all the hype, blue seats ,rumours sale are moving in with us at the new stadium, poor marketing and running of the club. I think the mad season ticket info which was very poorly put down on paper , having to pay a membership fee for each person not each house hold which it was for the last two seasons has played a big part in poor season ticket sold.
you would think new ground, 10,000 at the last game at the willows and are club has done little in trying to get those people back.
on the bright side we have are name now on the stadium

I think it's safe to say that of all your fellow SL club fans, the ones who are least likely to be all superior and snidey about your situation are us; we've been there, done it and bought the t-shirt, to later find that that t-shirt we bought didn't actually belong to the person who sold it to us and the proceeds went to a dodgy off-shore instrument rather than to the club. Or something.
Anyhow - good luck with it all, I hope things improve.

We had been linked with him the season prior to the meltdown, I think Kear had him earmarked for a while. It didn't work out, good luck to the lad at Salford.

| Agreed jonh. If he was bigger and stronger he could get away with being on the slow side a la Wellens, not saying he'd be as good mind. Unfortunately for him he is both small and slow and I can't really see him ousting Luke patten out of the number 1 shirt!

True, he showed some nice touches and had a decent short kicking game (apart from drop goals!) but couldn't get away.
