| Nice to see one there if mainly to attract opportunist buyers but I'm sure the club under Sir Glover have already looked into it's viability.

Why have they just done up the one at the ground?

| slightly o/t but i went to trinity walk for the first time on Friday, and I have got to say I was disappointed expected more and I can't imagine people travelling in to visit when they could go to the white rose with more shops and free parking (yeah i know if you go to sainsburys they will validate your parking ticket for 2 hr stay). What is the feeling amongst the Wakefield residents is it what you expected or has it left you felling slightly let down?

| I can't remember who told me, it was either in the shop or at the trailer, but I understand that the trailer is only temporary until the shop at Trinity Walk opens.

| i agree with the earlier comment about the club shop at belle vue: the que was that big it stretched to the gates of the daddy cool entrance, so people going into the shop who then found something to buy had to take the merchandise out with them to the edge of the carpark, I can see how this must feel a bit dodgy on their part. I would have a merchandise only que for the next game. Also there was confussion with the que as people thought it was a que just for getting into the shop, two guys i saw qued for ages in the ticket que, got into the shop to look at merchandise then picked what they wanted only to be told they had to go to the back of the que again to pay for them!
On a good note i thought it was a great idea to have ossett beer on offer for father's day, looked to be selling well and I'm sure me dad will enjoy a good Yorkshire blonde

| I'm pretty sure AG has stated several times that they are getting a unit there, but u should imagine getting a unit set up in the time Glover took over and the trinity walk opened isn't easy. the trailer is temporary but is good for now i think, all the shop assistants have been very polite everytime I've been also, though this might be down to my good looks and charm

Compared to what was there before, I think it's absolutely cracking and as it fills up, will only get better. I'm chuffed that whilst there are shopping developments standing idle due to lack of funds/tenants in Leeds, Sheffield and Bradford, we've delivered both Trinity Walk and the Hepworth.
It's not meant to be a replacement for WR centre by the way - it's called 'Walk' because you can walk there for the centre of town.

Seen as the place is called Trinity walk there 100% should be a club shop of our team there . A cheap rent should be charged come on council!Went to hand my collection of memberships in today and the club shop at belle vue was closed
I don't think the Council could afford to discount rent to anybody considering the amount of money they had to cough up to get it finished, Maybe Wakey would be best served looking at the Ridings, with all the retailers locating to Trinity walk there maybe cheaper rents at the ridings, surely if shop's like "freddies" can afford the rent, so can Wakefield !!!

| There is plenty of empty shops on the left hand side of Teal street (coming from the cathedral) which leads to Trinity walk, I presume the owner of these (the council??) would love a anchor tenant in one of these because they have been empty for ages... Its just as busy on this street now because most people walk from or to the rest of the city centre through there..

I don't think the council have anything to do with Trinity Walk. And I've also heard the Ridings are giving potential businesses free, short term rent in order to fill the empty units.
