| I think in a nutshell with Powell and Cas its down to respect.
The players resoect him and vice versa and with that the players are willung to give an extra 10-15%.
Dont think were years behind them as I think the respect bit has to some extent rubbed of with us this year

Probably not and the gap could be closed. I hang my hopes on Chester who was quick to identify one of our problems when he said 'IF you continue to sign the same type of player, continue to expect the same results' I include that bunch we got from Cas as that 'same type of player'.
Just one other thing, not that long back we were a bit of a way infront of Cas, they got relegated twice not that long ago. The fact that they have come back from that to where they are now is a fair achievement. Meanwhile we seem to keep aimlessly bumping along the bottom. Lets hope we find the 2 or 3 special signings we need and next season start to make some sustainable progress.

| That was about 3 years ago when they went from a bottom half club to a top half club. I hope we do catch them up quicker, but while we develop, they will continue to develop too. My hope is that with a level of continuity in coaching and players, as well as some good fortunes, we'll be fighting it out for the top half like Cas will continue to

| Don't know where to stick this info but this thread is as good as any. People have said that Anthony Walker had left, but just reading an interview from him about playing for Wales at Belle Vue against Jamaica, certainly seems like he's still here.

| So with the Fifita brothers signed up on 3 year deals.
I think we should go all out and buy Josh Hodgsons contract up and make it a formidable front row.

Walker will not be on a big contract so provides competition for a front row starting spot with the Fifita brothers, Keegan Hirst and Anthony England...

Aye, well done to Judah. It will be interesting to see how he develops at his level.

| Wonder if any more will be announced prior to the shirt launch.
If it is, and a good one, it good aid sales for both season tickets amd the shirts themselves.

Can't see either being effected by signings or none. We've just had a few pages of people crying their eyes out because of the home fixture days.
Season ticket sales are generally down to a mixture of "overall feel" and available cash/ticket price. These days, more people do seem to look at season tickets as a way to save money rather than a way to donate some cash to the club early doors to help with planning and signings.
